I have been loving orange theory. I’m a fan of exercising and keeping in good shape and have been doing normal gym workouts for the last several years. My friends started doing orange theory so I jumped in to try it out, and it’s been great! The workouts are killer and tax me way more than my normal weight workouts do, especially on the cardio side. Showing up to workout and not having to come up with my own routine, being in a motivated group doing the same workout and pushing along, and having a coach to help and give ques is great and has been a fun way to mix up my workout routine.
The coaches and staff at Orange Theory in Fresno are awesome too. The coaches explain the exercises well and keep the timing of the workouts on schedule. They’re helpful in adjusting workouts too. I hurt my back the other day and wasn’t at 100%, but wanted to get a workout in. The coach, Nate, gave me some alternate exercises to do from the ones the rest of the class were doing in order to still work out the muscle groups being targeted without stressing my back. I was very grateful for that. The location is convenient and the staff keeps everything very clean and orderly there too. I definitely recommend...
Read moreThe workouts are effective. I am a little sore after, but not so much that I can’t move or be motivated for another the next day. And each class works different muscles for great total body strength building. The coaches are motivating and supporting. They will push the class, but no one is singled out to do more than they are capable of. The music is upbeat and fun. And I haven’t met any class participants who don’t offer a smile to the new girl (that’s me). I’ve only taken 3 classes so far, but I’m already obsessed with trying to get classes scheduled through the app. I’ve even used the app to log a run I did when I couldn’t get a sitter for a class. I got splat points for that which is cool since I’m a box checker, type of personality (give me some tasks, or ability to earn points and I’ll obsess over getting them all checked off my to do list). It’s satisfying to watch your workout stats grow in the app for you to see anytime. Apparently I’m the only one using the chest band (heart monitor) that was free as a special for signing up, rather than buying the arm band, but it is working just fine...even to track my run the other...
Read moreI hated working out and never went to the gym, until I found Orangetheory. I love so much about Orangetheory! I appreciate the positive environment, the encouragement, and the support because it is really a non-judgmental environment. The coaches are incredible, they are knowledgeable, and truly want to help you get better all the way around. I'm getting the best of a class workout with personal coaching. I like that I don't have to think about my workout and to avoid burnout from monotony, it's different every time! I also appreciate the access to the data I get from my heart monitor.
