This was the worst experience Iāve had at a restaurant. Since it was a Saturday night there was a bit of a wait which is completely understandable, but the lack of communication and customer service from the host was not acceptable. This was just the beginning to the train wreck⦠We were then seated and while we waited for our server we pushed a barstool to the end since we were a little cramped and had an empty chair. Our server Felicia began by pushing our barstool to the side in saying āno you canāt do this itās a hazardā. Obviously this was our fault so no harm in the correction but the tone was so rude and confrontational, it was also the first thing she said to us. She then continued with an extremely condescending tone for the rest of our experience. She left the table for a couple minutes so we could figure out our orders and in the meantime we discussed how weird our experience has been and how bothered she seemed by helping us. When she came back to the table she was even ruder than earlier taking our order acting extremely annoyed and as she checked my boyfriendās ID who is 22 she took his Id to the back and we see them all talking to eachother and she comes back out saying āno itās expired Iām not accepting thatā so whatever, thatās the rules of the establishment but the way in which this was handled was EXTREMELY immature and confrontational. As we left because of the horrible customer service we asked for her name her answer to that was āmy manager is right there talk to himā not answering the question regarding her name. Her name tag had no name on it for a reason and Iām sure this was not the first time she had spoken to customers like this. I work in customer service and truly understand how difficult and draining it is but I cannot believe the way I was spoken to by FELICIA, (name given to us by the manager after asking). This business needs some serious management and staffing training or new hiring but you cannot have a surviving...

We seated ourselves. After 10 min the manager approaches requesting to move us to another table as the section was closed. No signage, ropes, or anything indicating that. So we spend the next 7 min being escorted around the entire place as he is attempting to find a clean table After we are reseated 15 mins pass untill we are waited on just to get drinks and an appetizer, as the contactless device at the table was "out of service" broken. Waitress assured she'd be right back to take our meal orders which did not happen until 15-20 min later. As we were STILL waiting on our drinks and appetizer. While we continue to wait another staff comes to take our order, but is unable to because it's a territorial/'competitive work environment, plenty of time to observe the dynamics, although ambitious our waitress bites off more than she could chew. Beating other coworkers to tables/ tips but can't keep up with the service. After 30 min we are brought ONE drink for a party of 3 and still no appetizer. We politely inquire as to the hold up of other drinks and or appetizer, response was our appetizer got " bumped" as for the drinks, " there is only ONE blender so it's taking the bartender time to fill orders " to which we could clearly see from our table , no pep in step, making of ONE blender drinks ..One blender for the ENTIRE restaurant. There is a Walmart a hope skip and a jump away..š¤šš¤£ We had "Lunch and a Show " the senior mother and daughter seated across from us put sailors to shame as they expressed thier thoughts on the poor services.."Drinks and a Show " This Applebee's location sucks. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am highly disappointed with my visit to Applebee's. It is one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever encountered. Here are the issues my party had:
1). Our server, Angelina, provided terrible service. She stared at my boyfriend's ID for at least a minute and commented on his appearance. I ordered the Three Cheese Chicken Penne, and she did not let me know in advance that they were out of breadsticks. When my entree arrived, I asked her about my missing breadstick, and she said they had been out of stock for at least a month now. I'm upset that she didn't have the decency to tell me before I ordered the meal. Also, she never asked us how our food was. Later, I watched her sit in one of the booths on her personal laptop for at least 15 minutes. When my boyfriend could not stomach his meal, she did not apologize for the poor quality of the food. Instead, she made it seem like it was my boyfriend's fault for ordering the Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders meal. Towards the end of the service, she encouraged us to pay and leave. Angelina never thanked us for dining at Applebee's.
2). My Three Cheese Chicken Penne was mediocre. The sauce had the consistency of water, and the chicken was chewy. My boyfriend's Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken was so disgusting that he could not eat it. The sauce from the chicken was so sweet and covered the Mac & Cheese, which was not a tasty combination. My boyfriend's father ordered the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, and it smelled rancid. They only comped by boyfriend's meal.
I was not expecting much from this visit, but I know that I will never dine at Applebee's again. Do not go to...
