Bobby Salazar's Taqueria — Restaurant in Fresno

Don't confuse yourselves and believe that all Bobby Salazars are the same!!! My girl and I try to sneak out once or twice a month,and our get away place is BOBBY SALAZARS ON W.SHAW,Our place was closed last weekend when my girl and I decided we should go have a drink until we looked at the time and noticed we had only twenty minutes, after thinking about we chose to check out the other Bobby Salazars on Olive,what a HELL OF A DIFFERENCE!!!! The lady who served us awfully rude,she act as if she did not want us there,we decided we weren't going to let her ruin our night out without the Kids so we placed a order for two Bloody Mary's after 15 minutes or so she came back to us and reminded herself she has made our drinks She brought out the body Mary mix and started to make our drinks in this little glass,so before she could proceed I ask that she make them in tall glass,she told me No!! This is how we make them,and I said to her we go the Bobby Salazars on Shaw and we always received our drinks in a tall glass,she replied, "well we are own by someone else and if I want a tall glass I'll have to buy a double, I thought this was crazy,but we said the hell with it and placed the order,she started making the drink right in front of us she poured a single shot in both our glasses then body Mary mix and handed us our glasses,then I ask where are the Olives she replied oh didnt know you wanted any and I said yes and we would also like celery sticks lemon or lime and our shrimps she chuckled and said we don't put all that in our drinks that if I wanted that I would have to pay for it,we ask how much more will this ? $3.00 dollars each per drink,we declined and walked over to out side part of the place,try to have a smoke a wonder what the hell did we do to this lady,after a little music we decided to leave,we go to pay our tab and for two glasses of body Mary mix cost us$28.00..... ON A SUNDAY NIGHT

Ordered the taquito plate. Food was ok. Food safety and sanitation was piss poor.

I'm glad this location prepares your food in front of you. I watched the food ordered before me being prepared. The gentlemen were grabbing the shredded cheese and lettuce with their bare hands going straight onto the plates to eat then go to the touch screen cash register. Even used their bare hands to slide food from a plate in the salamander into a to-go box. I watched them cutting lettuce straight on the stainless steel countertop with no cutting board. And this was just what I witnessed for the 10 minutes I was waiting. Who knows how long this was going on beforehand.

Meanwhile, there were 3 boxes of gloves sitting on the back counter the whole time. They never once washed their hands. I had to ASK the gentleman making my food to please wear gloves and skipped the ingredients I knew were contaminated.

If this is what they do directly in front of you, then I can only imagine what they do when you're not looking.

Skip this place and save yourself the foodborn infection. They really need to teach their staff food handling, safety...

I’d give it no stars if I could, I’m not one to make reviews if I don’t like the food I just don’t back but this review isn’t just about the food. The service was the worst service I’ve ever had anywhere. There was three employees behind the register the girl took our order was straight rude from the moment we walked in. She asked me what I wanted to order I ordered my meal and didn’t get to finish talking/ordering and she just turns around and walked away to start making the food didn’t finish taking our order when she came back she was ready to charge and we weren’t done ordering. I asked her twice for no onions on food and she just looked at me didn’t say okay and onions were placed on my food. After telling her twice and she just stood there without saying anything I wanted to walk away and not pay for the food she already started making. First and most definitely the last time we will ever go there. Service was terrible and food...
