Bread Basket Bakery — Restaurant in Fresno

The Bread Basket has become a favorite, but since Michael and Sarah took over, it’s truly next level. Their lahmajoon is hands down the best I’ve been introduced to. It’s crispy, fresh, and full of flavor.

What really sets this place apart is how Michael and Sarah treat everyone like family. They’ve brought new life into the bakery while keeping its roots strong. You walk in for the food but keep coming back for the love and care they put into everything.

What a gem! First off I happened to stumble upon this place due to have a craving for baklava but then my world was opened up to so many incredibly delicious treats thanks to Rita. I truly regret not grabbing one of everything in there. My mom and me tried a little bit of everything we got while in the car and couldn’t stop talking about our next trip to Fresno simply to stop here. And to top it all off how friendly she was to us just made this find so much more enjoyable. Go here! She’ll put you on to all the good stuff....

Cruising home an my bike at about 730 am the other day, I passed by this unassuming shop at 23 mph.(fast for a bike) The smell grabbed me like in an old cartoon , where the sweet aroma would form into hands, and wave for you to come near. I turned round quickly and entered the bakery. So glad I did!
