After having horrible service here before, i decided to give it a try again well it went worse on 3/29/2019. As we came in we waited for about 5 minutes until someone approached us to get us a table. The waitress came over we gave her our order right away since we been here so many times and we already know what we want. Well the cooks made our order wrong and it also took them about 45 minutes to bring our food. Food is so expensive here so we decided we are not going to take something we didn't ordered, we sent it back. The owner (lady in a cheetah dress) later brought a plate of french fries with shrimp, WE NEVER ORDERED THAT!! We called another waiter over and told him we hadn't ordered that and the owner tells him " It's for the next table" As he is picking up the food another girl comes over with more food this time it's a lot less than we ordered. So we tell her maybe she has the wrong table since we ordered more. She takes the food and say this time they will get it right. An hour and 30 minutes later finally a tray that looked like what we ordered. Just to make sure i asked the server that brought us the food what was in it, she said "idk, i just know it's 2 pounds of shrimp." Well we start eating our food thinking it's our food well it was ridiculously spicy, we normally don't get it spicy just to enjoy it. We have had it spicy before but we have decided we enjoy it better not spicy. So I finally decide we have to say something like 4 shrimps in, this time to our original waitress that took our order. She said they will remake it for the 4th time now. But we were just thinking wow we been here almost 2 hours and we placed our order when we ordered our drinks, lets go!! We go to the register where the owner is at we tell her you know what "our ordered has been wrong multiple times can you tell us how much we owe you we are ready to leave." She starts acting like all of a sudden she don't know English and can't understand us and starts asking "how much food did you eat?" and we told her "every single time it was done wrong we only got a taste of 1 of the trays" She now starts being a jerk to the waitress telling her "you got their order wrong a couple of times!" We were like "wow wow, it is not her fault, she took our order the cooks make it wrong" she looks back at her and says the same thing again. Now she has the waitress explaining what she did in front of us. All that was unnecessary and embarrassing the waitress even apologized and we were not even upset at her at all, it was out of her control!! All we wanted to do is pay for what was made correctly and we ate. The owner did not have to start pointing fingers! Will not be coming here for a very long while!! As this owner lady felt like it was okay to act like that in front of us. Next time don't treat us like it was our fault either! Read moreI'm sharing my disappointment in seeing the reviews here. I look at reviews before I go to a place to eat. Looks like the last month or so FOB had racked up some negative reviews. The owners responses don't help at all, the broken English spelling and straight arguing back with the customer says a lot. Not everyone can be satisfied but FOB your business depends on the customers and thier satisfaction with your service and product. We're gonna share with 20 people about bad service before we share with 10 great service. That's a fact. Do you best to resolve an issue with the customer with a mindset that they'll be coming back. That you need thier business and you enjoy serving them. Check your staffs attitude at the door before they clock in, back them up as they get slammed. Get those refills while staff hustle from table to table. Get a good restaurant manager if you can't run the show. Hire somone to respond to customer complaints, offer surveys as customers leave or have them at the tables. Actually read those surveys and meet with the team to see what can be implemented without costing a lot of sacrifice the cost for the reward. I want to enjoy the seafood you offer, I want to support local businesses, we're all penny pinching and are coming out of our caves finally from this covid pandemic. Please Stop responding like you don't care if they come back or not. I guarantee that like all small businesses in this town if we don't come back, we won't be seeing you open very long. If you can't control your self and staff recognize it and get the people in there that will have the self-control the will treat the customer like a customer like family, that you love making these meals for people and your livelihood depends on their business. Read moreI been to FOB's multiple times, never had any issues until I went in on Fathers day worst experience ever!! They have signs posted in multiple parts of there restaurant saying .50 cent oysters Sundays all day. I went in on a Sunday, this paper that is posted all over including the front door does not say excludes holidays, also they do not mention they are not .50 cents they just hit you with full price at the end. Thinking oysters are .50 cents since its Sunday I order freely, when i go pay i check my receipt before paying. Oysters are regular price i bring it up to the cashier she talks to my server and comes back telling me it's a holiday your total is still the same amount. I said I was never told they were regular price she insists my total is the same. I figured I'd call another day to discuss this with a manager I call Tuesday, manager tells me she cant do anything she was not there that day to call back Wednesday to speak to the manager that was there Sunday. I call she tells me it's been to long and she cant do anything that I should've said something that day. I let her know that I did say something but the cashier insisted that i had to pay the full amount.
