Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Fresno

On the 9th of April, at approximately 19:33, my family and I patronized this establishment with the intent of enjoying a meal together. During this visit, we ordered a Char Burger meal, a Double Cheeseburger meal, along with two additional Cheeseburgers and a Milkshake. Unfortunately, a misunderstanding occurred at the point of sale, concerning the items billed versus what was received. A soda, was apparently not added.

Subsequently, when my teenage son approached the counter to get his 2nd drink and rectify what appeared to be a misunderstanding regarding the beverages included with our meals, he was subjected to unprofessional treatment by an employee identified as "Angel". This individual not only challenged the validity of our purchase in a manner that publicly embarrassed my son but also proceeded to make disparaging comments about him to her colleagues infront of other customers and in his presence. This same type of behavior was replicated when I asked to speak to a manager and "Monique" started making fun of me as she was on the broiler behind the counter.

This incident has not only marred our dining experience but also raised serious concerns regarding the caliber of customer service and the training of employees in handling order discrepancies without resorting to customer humiliation. Firstly I would like to start off recommending the burger, fish, or chicken based menu items. The other meats can vary in quality, but I have only heard and experienced great things from the aforementioned selections.

It is safe to say that my family and I have made a habit of attending the Habit Burger Grill! If I were to sum it up into one phrase it would be this: In-n Out with choices!

The taste of the food is really good, especially considering the competitive pricing! Though you can get better elsewhere, you will likely end up paying double for a high quality burger. If you're looking for something not top notch, but good then the Habit is your place to stop. I am sure that there will be something there for you to enjoy, even if you are on a diet. They also have a chili bar with jalapenos and other peppers available for you to add.

Weird experience. Instead of taking my order at the counter they told me to use the kiosk instead. What an odd interrupt.

Why not take my order verbally already if you're talking to me? Anyway...I used the kiosk and I received a text when my food was ready. They put it out on the counter but didn't call out my name or acknowledge me sitting there. So I assumed I could go grab it but then the manager or whoever was wearing the black shirt spoke to me with suspicion in their eyes as if I was stealing the food. Just a bad energy and attitude. They asked me for my phone number to confirm the order. I complied and was allowed to get my food, but not a pleasant experience overall. Why wouldn't you call out my name and wait for me there to confirm?

I've had more straight forward orders without issue in the past here. Yet another person wearing the black shirt never did smile whom I saw working here several times.

The food is consistently good but the vibe is consistently bad at this place. I don't think...
