My reviews are aimed at gluten free dining. Pieology is one of my top three quick food go-tos. I love that I have Two crust choices and really Like the cauliflower crust. In traveling, I've discovered that I have to Watch! Not all locations automatically use the separated herb-butter and red sauce even though you just told them GF crust and glove change. They always cheerfully change gloves and happily accommodate my needs. I find that all of the quick-pizza places VARY in how done they bake the crust. It varies from " scrape off and eat the toppings only from the middle 5" of the pizza" (because the middle dough is nearly raw)" to " crisp and lightly chewy perfect edge crust, with the middle just being done". It depends on who's manning the oven at that visit. I like the BBQ and pesto after-toppings. I find it's smartest to ask for them on the side - they are usually too heavy-handed for my taste. I like the fruity and botanical lemonades, and get a sip of one or two each visit. But I can't justify drinking a whole glass of so much sugar. I like that they display the calories, which they are all required to do, I guess. I like the soda machine with the add-in flavors like cherry and vanilla. Do get the app - I love the email deals I receive and free pizzas...
Read moreThis was our first time visiting a pieology and will likely be our last. We had the absolute worst experience. When we entered NO ONE greeted us. The “greeting” we got was “how many pizzas”. No hi, what can we get started for you. When we told her (purple hair employee who had no name tag or cap/hair net and EXTREMELY disgruntled, rolling eyes and making facial expressions along with huffing and puffing) reluctantly started making our pizzas. She never asked what items we would like but rather said “is mozzarella ok?” Making it seem as if we didn’t have a choice. We stepped aside waiting to pay and about 5 minutes passed and the SHIFT LEAD turned around and said “two pizzas?” And nothing else. The process is VERY unorganized and the team is miserable and it shows. We also witnessed another customer make eye contact with the shift lead and ask a question and she kept walking ignoring the other PAYING customer.
Coming back to say that AFTER I made this post…THEY LOST OUR PIZZAS!!! Along with four other customers. Our orders were likely sent to a door dash customer who is probably just as annoyed as we are/were. It took us an hour to receive two pizzas. We have spoke to the store manager however they still have not refunded as they...
Read moreWish I could say that my experience was great but I cannot, I have been going to Pieology since they opened here in Fresno and now I think I might change my mind. My pizza was not satisfying, I mean you guys raised your prices by 2 dollars since but keep decreasing the amount of ingredients you put on the pizza, there is one slice on my pizza that literally has no ingredients on it. To start I was waiting in the online order line for a min and patiently waiting for some help. The person at the register (Ramon) I thought would come help me after he was done charging out customers but nope he walked away super fast, then another worker showed up and I thought oh she’s gonna notice me but nope I actually had to ask if I had to wait in line to pick my order. Needless to say my experience was bad and I probably won’t be coming back to this location. I seen another comment of someone complaining about online orders and missing ingredients so obviously it’s not an...
