Hon's Chinese Food Restaurant — Restaurant in Fresno

My husband and I have been eating at Hon's for well over 10 yrs. The food is delicious and the servings are plentiful. The reason we have been going to other chinese restaurants, relunctantly is due to the service at Hon's. We have tolerated them for too long, but after all the times we've been there, we know they recognize us and still they don't even make an effort to been nice or considerant to patrons. The owner's wife only says a nice word or cracks a smile when it's time to pay the bill. I suppose it's so that we can give a bigger gratuity tip. This is something that happens every time we go there. The other servers are worse. There is a specific server that yells at us if we ask questions, no kidding! I hope that the Hon's owner or his wife read these reviews and change how they all treat their customers, unless they don't care about keeping their business...

I was so upset with Hon's restaurant. I ALWAYS ask for extra gravy and sprouts, whether I pay for it or I let them know even if they give me less noodles, and they NEVER do! Then to top it off my last order they didn't put any. I thought it was just my order, it turns out both plates were so dry we threw it. Like in made of money to waste food and be so disappointed. I still go to Sunrise from now on which is further, unless Hon's makes it right. I was already home and I was NOT driving all the way back. I think I gave then enough chances to see it's not a mistake. They apparently don't care if you special...

I've order through Grubhub and the Family Dinner for 2 is a good deal, the food is hot and well made. I've ordered and different Chinese Restaurants and this one is second on my list but may be first due to my first choice isn't on Grubhub. The Lunch/Dinner have great choices but like my first choice restaurant, you get way too much noodles for the pork chow mein that is included in all choices. Their special chow mein is really great.
