I have been a regular at this place for months now. new to Armenian food & let me say, this place has the best food I have ever had in my almost 42 yrs of life. The bread with your meal is made fresh daily! You can even buy a loaf of sourdough bread. The bread is, wow, the best I have ever had.
Your meals are made from scratch. This isn't Dennys or McDonald's. So you are going to have a small wait, depending on the meal you order.
The lahmajun wrap is a quicker meal if you're short on time. The Armenian salad is a light meal but still very filling. If you like grilled cheese sandwiches. I recommend trying one here. Have them add onions & peppers to it. The Adjaruli is a nice meal to have if you have a few minutes to spare. This one takes a few mins to cook up. But it's worth the wait. The bread is so fresh, light, and savory. The inside of this dish makes your taste buds go wild. It's so cheesy good & not too slaty. The meals are really made to perfection here.
The desserts are very good as well. Let's just say... The owner of this restaurant is a very talented baker/chef. The honey cake is so moist. The lemon meringue pie is better than any pie I have had. Better than my own grandma's. It's so creamy and makes my mouth water just typing this. Haha
The coffee at the shop is amazing. I have never had such a pretty coffee and coffee that tastes like coffee. Their coffee is sourced locally and is organic. The crème brûlée is amazing. It has just the right amount of sweetness that doesn't mask the coffee taste. It's perfection.
The customer service is amazing. The girls are absolutely the sweetest & very caring. They make you feel like family. This is an Armenian owned place, so keep in mind there are cultural differences. Americans are way too quick to judge.
The prices are very reasonable. In my opinion they could charge more on some of the meals.
Don't let the negative reviews keep you away. Because at the end of the day, you have your own opinion to form & this isn't a place you want to miss out on due to negative Nancy...
Read moreI have been wanting to try this place for a while because I love coffee/boba places that also serve food AND have a patio AND have unique food options - Boba Cafe does all that! I came with my kids and a friend and we all enjoyed what we ordered but our favorite was the egg boat, which had yeasty dough filled with creamy cheese and a sunny side up egg! Yum! I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and my daughter got the caprese sandwich! I loved the chicken sandwich because it was a little heartier, but the bread they use is just so good any sandwich tastes yummy! My friend ordered the quinoa salad and it was so fresh and tasty - like a garden! We also got the matcha and strawberry milk tea boba and they were great! We enjoyed our meal on the patio which was insulated and clean, and kept you from noticing that you were next to two busy streets. The Cafe is attached to an Armenian market which had so many fun things in it! It was super clean and well appointed. The service was friendly and the girls running the Cafe were very helpful and accommodating, particularly with a child who had a gluten intolerance. My friend mentioned that the bathrooms weren't super clean though but she thinks that's because it's an older building with older pipes and whatnot. Overall, this place was a great lunch or brunch spot and definitely worth...
Read moreI want to love this place but only visit if you have time to spare. It is also pretty expensive. The food is great, really great. One of my favorite breakfast sandwiches and the crème brûlée coffee is sooo good. But the first time I visited I waited about 50 min (I ordered food for 6 of us). The second time I ordered online, arrived 25 min later, and still had to wait 10 minutes for my food. When I got to my car I noticed the croissant I ordered was missing so I went back in and the girl working plainly told me there was a receipt in the back for the refund she gave me since they were out. Which didn’t work for me since I was now missing part of my toddler’s breakfast. She ended up giving me a couple slices of toast after I asked, but it was weird she didn’t tell me when handing me my food. I will probably visit again though because the...
