My wife and I can't thank the Valliani Jewelers enough (Fresno). The employees and manager there were absolutely wonderful to work with. To Albert, to Jessica, and to LuLu (Lourdes, Mgr.), thank you so very much! Our story: My wife Amy and I shopped for over a year for our 25th year anniversary ring. Our goal was to have it prior to December 2025. Amy probably tried on at least 30 or 40 rings of different sizes and styles this past year, year and a half. We happened to be in Fresno shopping on May 10, 2025. While our daughter and friend were shopping in the mall, Amy and I stopped to look at rings in several stores. It was the day before Mothers day this year. We were welcomed into Valliani by Albert and Jessica. They both assisted us as Amy looked at several ring settings and center stones. We explained to them why we came in and what we really wanted; an anniversary ring with exactly 25 stones... after about 20 minutes, Amy was speaking with Jessica when Albert brought me the setting that ended up being the perfect setting. 18k with 24 stones and a spot for the center stone. Jessica came with several center stone examples and sizes (Amy chose the 1.5 ct center round, excellent quality). LuLu, the manager came over to us and introduced herself. It was because of their patience, kindness, and professionalism, as well as the ring itself, that Amy and I knew we found Amy's perfect anniversary ring. See pic. These folks are good about making something affordable and working with you if you're interested in getting jewelry, which was nice, but the behavior of the employees just really icked me in the wrong way.

My partner and I went to look at engagement rings and we were looking in a much cheaper price range than usually couples will look in, and they were very willing to work with our budget and offered to bring the price down from $700 to $500. It's really considerate of them to do so and I want to acknowledge that it was kind that they understood our situation.

But, I am very much the kind of person who likes to think through these decisions and I just felt very pressured to make a decision then and there. I tried to express that I didn't like the idea of financing, it's a moral issue to me, I have nothing against people who choose to do that but I just don't like it personally and I felt kind of dismissed when explaining that, and some employees were pushy when I said we needed time to talk about it amongst ourselves since I try to consult with my partner privately about things like this.

My partner thankfully could sense my discomfort and we opted not to purchase one, and I don't mean to tarnish their name or anything just want to tell others to be careful and don't be pressured into something you don't truly love. This is a lesson I've been learning a lot in wedding planning especially - you're going to regret it so much if you go with something you don't truly love just because it makes others happy. so don't be guilt-tripped into buying something, especially a ring you're going to wear the rest...

I had a pleasant visit at Valliani jewelers this afternoon shopping for and purchasing the perfect engagement ring for my fiancé. The gentleman Albert who assisted us was attentive, informative, and reserved. His face looked like the kind of face I would expect to see and trust behind counter of a jeweler where I would be making such a life impacting purchase. He was in no way pushy, nor did he give any feeling of a “class assessment” for looking at rings in different price ranges. (Sometimes I get the feeling salesman kind of size you up based on the expense of your purchase, I didn’t feel that at all with this gentleman.) The circumstances couldn’t have felt more right. Valliani’s was the second store we had stopped into. And although the lady that the first store was also helpful, something just didn’t feel right, and I insisted that we continue to search even though she had settled on a ring that was maybe 3/5ths of what she wanted and actually half the cost of what we ended up buying. Albert helped me and my fiancé find a ring that was more than perfect, and worked with me on financing options being that it was a little more than I had planned on spending. The experience felt very personal. Almost magical. My fiancé’s eyes were glowing. Thank you Albert, and Valliani’s for starting my wife and I off on this life long experience with a magical beginning....
