I placed an order online for myself and others. It said a 30 minute wait once submitted. My brother and I waited about 20 minutes since it's a 10 minute drive from where we were located. We got there and the lady asked if I was Jazmin, I said yes. She proceeded to say the food isn't ready, just 10 more minutes and I'll bring it to your car. My brother and I waited patiently since we may have been a bit early and 10 minutes was fine. Next thing you know 10 minutes turned into 40 minutes and the lady saying our chow mein was ready, but our dumplings and pot stickers weren't. She tried telling me we could take our chow mein and come back later tonight for our dumplings. Immediately I was like who tells you to come back in 5 hours for food you ordered for lunch for yourself and your co workers? Of course we were not going to come back since my co workers paid as well and I have a one hour lunch and they were wasting my time. We waited a bit longer and then our food still wasn't ready, so I told her politely I'd need a cash refund or money sent back to my card. Don't get me wrong. I understand COVID-19 is ongoing, but they should've came in earlier to prep their food and should've had at least 2 more chefs. From what we could see the place was dirty and had boxes everywhere in the front and there was only 2 chefs and that 1 lady working. Overall, very very poor and I won't be going back. Let me mention, there was other people waiting over 15 minutes for...
Read moreOne of the worst experience ever. I placed an online order through their website. Estimated time for my order being completed was 30 min. When I arrived at the restaurant the cook opened the door and ask for my order number. I provided my online invoice and she had history of the order being placed. She stated to me she will have to call the waitress that took my online order. I waited outside for 15 min without any update. I finally knocked on the door again and she mentioned she cannot get hold of the waitress. I was extremely frustrated how does a restaurant take an order charge a person card and not fulfill their end of the service. This place should definitely close their doors and business as they have no common decency of customer service. I was finally feed up and told them to just cancel my order. Few days went by and noticed the charge went from pending to complete. This defies the code of ethics how does one charge a customers without fulfilling the service that was intended no such business should treat their customer in that manner. If you really want dumpling go elsewhere and do not give this place and business. Grade F- for overall satisfaction. Sad to say I cannot post this review unless give a star which they do...
Read moreThe place is more than you would expect from a typical "Chinese Food" spot. It may be small, but a beautiful environment. They are very convenient and fast with their food and service, whether it is dine in or ordering out (even if you go there and order to go). From the way the restaurant looks, you would expect the prices to be fairly high, given the location and interior design, but it is very decently priced for the quality of food.
You get a simple selection of food (which is a good thing), compared to most Chinese cuisine menus. And there are things less "authentic" to accommodate for more cliental than just someone seeking after authentic food.
Freshly made noodles, home made broths, and of course their dumplings are amazing. They are not overly complicated and very well executed. They carry Chinese black vinegar (which is rare in the central valley) and home made chili oil that is amazing. I admit I can almost clear out a container on my own whenever I go.
My favorites: shrimp-bacon fried rice, mapo tofu and chicken and...
