This is a really poorly-run P.F. Chang's. First of all, our waitress looked like she had just rolled out of bed, her appearance was very sloppy. She was also shuffling around the restaurant at a very slow pace looking like she was walking around her house on her day off, bored, looking for things to do. She only had a few customers, yet she was very slow to get drinks out. My husband and I ordered the Chang's for 2 special, which includes 2 soups, an appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert. Our appetizer was brought out before our soups by a man from the kitchen that was grumpy and seemed to be in a hurry despite the lack of customers. Our soup came out while we were eating the appetizer. The soups are supposed to come out first, and then there is supposed to be a few minutes at least until the appetizer comes out. The entrees came way too quickly, as well, all delivered by this grumpy kitchen man. He went back to the kitchen after delivering our entrees to get us some clean plates to eat on. When he came to the table, my husband and I saw him flick a piece of dried food off of the plate he tried to give to my husband with his finger. Really?! DISGUSTING. On top of that, my plate was totally white and the not clean plate was turning gray towards the center. He couldn't be bothered to take a few seconds to go back to the kitchen and get an actually clean plate, but tried to just scrape someone else's food off of it in front of us, in front of the waitress as well, who said nothing. Needless to say, we asked for a different plate. At one point, I asked for a cherry Moscow mule (P.F. Chang's has a full bar), and the waitress came to the table with this cloudy red drink and told me that it was their best shot at a cherry Moscow mule. As if that would somehow be difficult to make. It was completely flat, had no carbonation like a Mule should. It didn't taste good otherwise, either. Our bill was over $70 for two people, and we did not at all feel like we got over $70 worth of service and food/drinks. It was a dismal experience, and we won't be going back there again. We both used to love P.F. Chang's, but the Fresno location seems to have a lazy, indifferent staff that won't work to give you your moneys' worth with the service,...
Read moreFirst thing first, I came in and was not greeted. Hostess seemed surprised of me and still after I have greeted her, she hasn't said anything to me but just looked at me dumbfoundingly. Still didn't greet me or whatsoever. There was a good two seconds of silence until I break in and said "a party of 3 please."
Our waitress was good with her services. We had a bit of dirty food stain on the plate that was given to us and had asked for new plates. That was taken care of quickly. Would of given 4 star for fast services, but there's more.
The food, I know the restaurant is expensive but seriously I'm feel like I'm getting rip off for such a small portion size. If you're charging so expensively at least taste a bit better than Dai Bai Dang. The food came to us was very medicorely warm to cold not sure if that's how the restaurant operates like that but if food doesn't reach to temperature when serving to guest, it should of been a violation to health inspection. And my Mongolian beef was way too over cooked. Meet was almost like eating beef jerky. I had other main entrees that said it was crispy on the menu and not near to crispy but more like soggy deep fried shrimps and chicken bites. Also my white rice is warm rather than hot that it should of reach over 140°F
I got my food within 20 mins after my appetizer. Not bad for the quick service on a non busy night.
Overall, I have spent about $70 a meal to feed 3 people and I left that place still hungry. Seriously, I could of have gone somewhere cheap and easy that will not cost me this much but a gut of mine wants to try something new and giving a chance to see what the place got to offer.
The whole experience makes me want to leave the restaurant before my food ever came to me and never have I ever felted this way before. The restaurant is rated above 4 stars and does not live up to it. Not a proud restuarant.
Please work on the food especially. Flavor, temperatures, portion size, and more colors to your food add some vegetables that guest will enjoy and it making sure that plate is clean for your dish washer...
