To start, I really like Panera. I did go around lunch time (12:45-1ish) so that may have been the reason for my 3 star rating. The place was PACKED. line almost out the door. I guess none of the customers know that they can use the mobile kiosks to order but that's what I did. Awesome food and drink selection.
The waiting area for the food is a bit squished. It's right by the serving counter. I think they should designate a separate area for takeout orders because having waitresses have to walk through a pack of people who are waiting for their take out with plates full of food doesnt seem like the best choice.
My name on the screen was under processing, then after about 10 min waiting switched to the ready list and then disappeared. Asked the woman at the counter about it and she said they were still preparing and packaging my order..... even though it said ready then disappeared overall. She was checking that all the orders were correct but then had to leave to the front registers because they needed change.
It just seems a bit unorganized and hectic in there. I think a bit of rearrangement (corporates responsibility) is desperately needed.
Food overall was great. If you've been to panera before you know their prices are a bit more than an average "fast food" restaurant, but that's because it is not fast food quality. I will definitely be returning, just maybe not to this specific location because of how busy it gets.
We ordered the Chicken Tortellini Bowl and the Soba Noodle Edamame Bowl. Both came with a decent chunk of french roll (I think) and it all...
Read moreThis Panera Bread IS THE ONLY crappy Panera Bread I’ve been to. TRUST ME!!! I thought that all of these bad reviews were meaningless. NO! Listen to them, because this Panera Bread WAS good, but became bad once it got crowded and popular. I LOVE Panera Bread, but NOT this one. Never in my life have I seen such disgusting behavior. This restaurant PURPOSEFULLY steals from customers. One time I went and 3 PEOPLE in just 10min asked if the store was out of certain ingredients because they were not on the food. Don’t even get me started with the sauce, they are sooooo stingy with everything!!! I ordered 2 different sauces and I didn’t get any. The guy said it was already on the salad, but every other Panera I’ve been to gives separate containers for sauce no matter what. This Panera has its own set of rules that involve stealing little parts of the food to keep their coats cheap. Not to mention that the food gave my friend major food poisoning. The only time this Panera is good is when you order soup or a sandwich because they can’t steal much from those without you noticing. Salads are a no go (I know they are delicious but you will not be given good service) because they will steal and lie to get their way. DO NOT GO TO THE RIVERPARK PANERA EVER (unless you get a...
Read moreI was helped by a man named Shakari when I came in a couple of weeks ago and was astounded by how he treated me. I wanted to try something new and had some questions about some food items, when I got to my third question I could see he was getting irritated. He started to ask me to hold on so he could go in the back and do something else, leaving me at the counter. Or he would help another customer. When I finally was ready to order he got snooty with me saying why did I ask all those questions about another item if I wasn’t even going to order it. Then kept rolling his eyes at me. I go to Panera bread quite often, but this was the worst experience I have ever had. I asked for a cookie and he then proceeded to ask me if I knew how much calories were in that cookie, then proceeded to ask me if I thought I really needed it??
I tried to make a complaint to the manager and got nothing but grief for it. But you can bet that me and quite a few of my friends will NO longer be supporting this...
