Visited here a total of 3 times. Its advertised as a furniture store here on Google, but I only come here to browse food and drinks from all over the world. Even if you're not buying anything, its still a very fun place to browse and learn new things. A nice place to shop for unique gifts as well if you want to impress someone special. Everytime I come here, all the workers are always welcoming, nice and patient. Another reason why I keep on coming back as I feel very comfortable here. A tip for people who are looking to get asian snacks or ingredients specifically...I would check out your local asian market instead. I walked into World Market so eager to make purchase since moving from Monterey and always shopping there I was finally excited to shop at the Fresno location. As I walked in I wasnât greeted âWELCOME TO WORLD MARKET â I got a scowl look and an immediate âIs there something you needâWTHeck! But as other people behind me were sure welcomed!!!!! I did remark back NO THANK AND GOT MY CART AND DIRECTLY WENT TO GET THE SPECIFIC ITEMS and made the purchases and will be sure to never step into that World Market...
   Read moretwo older white women followed my group around the entire time shopping and asked if we "needed help" passive aggressively two times. when asked why, one woman said she "saw" my friend put something in his pocket, which did not happen and i told her to check his pockets if she wanted to. he was the only person of color in the group and felt very targeted. when i talked to the manager, she seemed nice and said she would talk to the workers and thanked me for speaking up, although i'm not sure if she did anything when we left. very upsetting when we are returning customers with rewards...
