Greetings, my name is Rogelio V. I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the experience I encountered during my recent visit to your establishment. As a student at Fresno State, I rely on financial aid and face challenges supporting my family of seven in Parlier without having a job due to the fact that if I were to get one it would affect the section 8 program used to provide for the home. My sister and I attend classes weekly at the same time, as I do not possess a driver's license. On the night in question, after my sister completed her classes, she suggested we try the new donut shop nearby. Despite my fatigue from being on campus from 11 AM to 9 PM, I agreed, driven by hunger.
Upon our arrival at Randy's Donuts, while my sister completed her order, I opted to purchase a single plain buttermilk donut priced at $2.40. The gentleman at the counter inquired, "Are you sure?" I affirmed my decision as I prepared to pay with my card. Subsequently, he stated, "Here, I’ve added an extra one for you," which might lead many to presume that the additional donut was complimentary. Although I was fatigued, I responded amicably with a “thank you,” only to discover later that I had been charged for both donuts. I caught a glimpse of the cash register, noticing the amount change, but my view was limited, so I chose to proceed without raising any concerns, especially as the shop was closing and there were others waiting behind me. Once my sister and I reached the car, I reviewed my receipt and confirmed that I had indeed been misled into paying a total of $4.80 for both buttermilk donuts. Feeling both tired and dissatisfied, I regretted spending my limited funds at a place that left me feeling betrayed in my trust for the establishment. Moving forward, I will reconsider my patronage, and should I return, I will not extend the same friendliness if I encounter a...
Read moreFirst off I'm gonna start off by saying I was greeted when I arrived. But only 2 people were behind the counter. I asked for a dozen donuts and got a extra large glazed, a young girl rung me up and the total was $40.20 seriously I was shocked! World Famous it says!!! Well I wanted to try so I paid with a hundred dollar bill and 2 dimes! The young girl couldn't figure how to give me 60.00 back, when she had a 50.00 bill in her hand! Her boss had to step in saying that why we don't except hundred dollar bills!!!!! I took these donuts to a dinner party! And was very disappointed everyone said that it tasted like day old donuts and were very dry! 10 people gave their honest opinions. I am a senior citizen and have ate quite a few donuts in my life time.....these where the very worst! Krispy Kreme's are only 17.99 a dozen and they are good! Old Town Clovis donuts are the best locally and they sell out by 2pm. Take my word don't go here! It's a waste of...
Read moreWe went on opening day at about 7 PM to get a dozen donuts. It was clean, organized and the employees knew what they were doing. They had a DJ playing music outside that was unbelievably loud. It was difficult communicating with the employees because of that. The donuts were very expensive so I expected them to be phenomenal. The were good but definitely didn't meet our expectations. They werent as sweet as most donuts which could be good, depending on your taste. The oreo was the best one. We were disappointed in the Nutella and the regular glazed. They were out of the churro donut which looked like a good option. I would have guessed they were day old but this was the first day. I guess if you grew up with this instead of Judy's you might...
