My first time at Sanctuary Coffee Shop was spectacular. The environment was homey. They played quiet study music, the lighting go was perfect (not too hard on the eyes), it was incredibly clean and well organized. The seating was lovely: old church pews were repurposed as benches and they were incredibly comfortable. The server (whose name was listed as E on the receipt) was so sweet and helpful. The best coffee shop in Fresno! I found this place on Yelp after seeing that they had outlets, and they did indeed have them. I ordered a sugar-free iced vanilla latte with oatmilk (9/10)! The barista who helped me at the counter was very sweet & patient with me! As a student, I appreciated the chair-to-desk height ratio, the classical background music, the lighting, and the large windows, which are perfect for giving your eyes a break from looking at a computer screen.
