This place opened a few weeks ago so I visited to try the food. Birria is featured prominently on their menu so I decided to try the quesabirria tacos. It was some of the best I've had. The tortillas used for the quesabirria are made specifically to hold up to the juiciness of the meaty and cheesy filling and it works amazingly well to accomplish that task. The outside was crispy and the inside was tender with perfectly melted cheese. The portion size is also huge for the $15 I paid. They also have a salsa bar with a huge variety of salsas, pickled veggies, and other accompaniments. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes to see if the other food matches up to the quesabirria.

I wish we would have tried Que Taco sooner, it was so fresh and delicious! We got the torta Cubano, birria burrito, queso with chorizo, esquites, and a few tacos. It was all super tasty and the portions are huge. The torta seriously was like half of the size of my corgi.. and he's not even that small, he's 28 lbs. We're not normally flan fans, but wow was it so good! The horchata aguas frescas legit tasted like a cinnabon cinnamon roll. And the sweet owner was so cute, telling us how she made everything fresh this morning! We'll for sure be back!

Delicious! We are two seniors who shared a combo platter and took some home! For our protein we selected pork carnitas. It was moist, tender, with the delicious crispy edges. Everything on the platter was homemade and so authentic. They even had homemade corn tortillas. Little extras like crispy onion bits and a roasted jalapeño added to the rice, beans, guacamole, and pico de gallo. It felt like a little trip to Mexico. The service was friendly and efficient. We are definitely going back. This is the location in Fridley on University.

This afternoon, at approximately 3:00 PM, my family and I visited your establishment. Regrettably, an interaction with the cashier taking our order detracted significantly from our dining experience. Specifically, there appeared to be a marked disinclination on the part of the cashier to attentively consider our requests. During the ordering of a simple burrito, my partner attempted to articulate specific preferences regarding its preparation. However, the cashier seemingly disregarded these instructions, demonstrating a lack of attentiveness to his expressed desires and, by extension, the specifics of the order for which we were paying. Consequently, the final preparation of the meal deviated from our communicated requests. This resulted in a disjointed dining experience, as our meals were not prepared as ordered, preventing us from dining together as intended. Furthermore, I personally experienced a similar lack of attentiveness and an unwarranted degree of inflexibility from the same cashier regarding the beverage options. Despite the clearly labeled cups indicating "large" and "medium" sizes, the cashier insisted on referring to the medium size as "regular," engaging in an unnecessary and contradictory exchange. These interactions collectively conveyed a distinct lack of customer service orientation. The cashier's apparent stubbornness and unwillingness to accurately process our order and acknowledge the labeled cup sizes were highly unprofessional and caused considerable annoyance. It is disheartening to report that despite our positive assessment of the food, salsas, and beverages, the substandard level of service we received has profoundly impacted our perception of your establishment. As residents of the immediate vicinity, we were genuinely enthusiastic about the prospect of becoming regular patrons of this newly opened taco restaurant throughout the summer. However, the regrettable conduct of this particular cashier has compelled us to reconsider future visits to this location. We will now be necessitated to travel to a different establishment to avoid the possibility of encountering similar unprofessional behavior. We sincerely hope that this individual receives comprehensive training in customer service and is guided towards a more receptive and accommodating approach to customer interactions. While we extend our best wishes for the success of your restaurant, we must express our concern that the demonstrated inflexibility and apparent disregard for customer requests exhibited by this employee may deter other potential patrons. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, A very...

Updating my review, (second visit), specific to customer service. Food is great but MAKE SURE you check your to go order before you leave. Received entire order incorrect. Person said she just rang it all up wrong. Also, menu says California burrito, "choose your protien", but the cashier insisted they could not make it with ground beef. After going back and forth about it, finally they were willing to make it. They should change their menu board if they dont really mean you are able to chose your protien. No attempt to provide discount or any "making it right", except had to sit and wait for the order to be remade, after all other orders, while they were SUPER busy. Overall spent 30 minutes the first time and over 45 minutes for the fixed order. Overall really frustrating and invalidating experience. I'll likely not go back due to the customer service experience this time.

Wait time: Plan to wait 30 to 45 minutes to receive your food, during peak hours.

FOOD QUALITY (first visit): And let's talk about those Birria Tacos. Best in the entire area. (I've tried them all in a 20 MINUTE radius). The corn shells are fresh, homemade and huge! The meat is flavorful and juicy. I mean no one...
