McDonald's — Restaurant in Friendswood

Worst customer service ever! We came in at 8:00pm the lady Fabiola was complaining about people coming in the lobby and them not having time to clean! When I placed my order I specifically order a spicy deluxe I told her I didn’t want pickles I didn’t know it didn’t come with pickles they give me my order and hand me a regular spicy sandwich plain when I went to the lady at the counter and told her she gave me a smart answer with a nasty look and told me the deluxe doesn’t come with pickles I told her I’m sorry ma’am I don’t work for you so I don’t know what comes in the sandwich… she walked towards the kitchen and started talking bad about me to the other employees when I was standing there and hear her clearly!! My son order a regular chicken sandwich which was undercook with pink in the middle when we told the cashier she said next time ask for it well done… when I asked for the managers name Fabiola said I am the manager I told her I need somebody higher than you and she said his name is Isaac and she went to the kitchen and said out loud she wants to talk to Isaac i don’t know why I didn’t do anything I didn’t even help her and other stuff made me feel really frustrated and uncomfortable I have never experience anything like this in a McDonald’s ever and what’s worst they are Hispanic treating other Hispanic people...

This is one of the worst McDonald's in our area as far as friendliness and service. But it has a playground and my grandkids like it. Otherwise, I wouldn't go here. Staff including management are generally unfriendly and seem lackadaisical at best. Orders are usually incomplete, causing you to have to go back to the counter at least once to get everything on your order. And they're stingey with condiments. This location while seems to be clean is old and dated. This morning with the grandkids we ordered two big breakfasts with hot cakes, 3 chocolate milks, 1 regular milk. When they brought the order and I started getting the kids set I realized we were missing a milk, so I had to go back for that and more butter and syrup because they're very stingey with condiments. As the manager on duty was getting the items she offered the excuse that she wasn't the one that filled the order. I hadn't even said anything about not getting the items, I simply asked for them. I don't care for that level of unprofessionalism. It's clearly a lack of training which falls back on management. But whatever. I had the kids set and as I began to eat I realized the hash browns were also missing. So I had to go back for that. Needless to say by the time I did all that making two trips back to the counter my meal was...

I took time to read several varied reviews before taking time to write my own. Seems to me it's a matter of poor, and either absent or hands-off management. In our case, aware of our botched online order (missing homestyle meal w/fries & drink), this management on 518 in Friendswood chose to hide behind the young lady who answered my call. The young lady admitted to being aware we paid for the missing meal & delivery, yet they "made a mistake " and didn't include my husband's meal when I initially called. Several minutes later, and yes, my meal growing too cold to enjoy, the poor young lady was tasked with calling me back to say, in her manager's stead, that I could either go pick it up tonight, tomorrow, or whatever. The management refused to discuss the delivery fee, placing the issue in Ubereats lap, and absolutely no refund, adding that McDonald's does not deliver. We were too upset to eat and went to bed hungry. We'll probably never see the $20.38 refunded, but it's a small price to pay to know where never to spend your hard...
