First and last visit.
Initial service was good. Waited in line cashed out and waited for my order. Ordered 2 steak finger combos, 2 large blizzards, 2 extra toast and 2 extra gravy. Ticket was cashed out at 6:10.
Unfortunately the self serve soda machine was not working. Two employees looked at it opened it up but never resolved the issue. So my only option was to wait until I could get someone to fill the sodas for me from behind the counter.
The very first item to come out were the blizzards. When the woman working the register brought them to me she was kind enough to fill my drinks and bring me a drink carrier.
As I sat there I noticed the manager grab an order and take it out to someone’s car. A few minutes later that same customer walked back in and said it wasn’t his order. Turns out he did not have two items but one. I can only speculate that this same customer opened up both orders only to find that neither was his. Can you imagine finding out that someone other than yourself and the cooks/employees handled your food? The mistaken order was quickly taken to the next car.
About ten minutes later the manager brought my food out and I noticed I didn’t get the extra toast or gravy, so I brought it up. He apologized and went back to get it. I heard him call it out to the kitchen but then disappeared.
I sat there waiting as my blizzards melted. Since he never came back I decided to walk up to the counter to try and get the matter resolved. While I was up there I noticed they had about 3-4 people working the blizzard section, 2 people working the window, two people in the kitchen and 2-3 people in the back. None of which acknowledged my presence at the counter. The woman at the register was doing what she could to cash out the customers.
As I stood there I observed the older woman working the window speaking to the kitchen. As she was doing this she opened a customers burger and was touching the burger with her hands going through it to see what was on it. She did not have any gloves on. She handles money, she should not be touching food at all, especially without any gloves. Unsanitary by any standards. Eventually the manager came out when the cashier went to the back to speak with a man at the register. This is when I was finally acknowledged.
I explained I had never gotten the extra items I purchased. I showed him my receipt he took it and went to the bank and personally got my items. As he was packing them in he stated:
“I gave you two extra gravy’s, you only paid for one but I gave you two.”
??? Yikes, I clearly remember ordering two of each, gravy and toast. I finally left at about 6:40. I got home disappointed.
Our meals were luke warm at best and soggy. Although I rushed in to put my blizzards in the freezer they were basically shakes, even after an hour or so in the freezer. This is when I realized the manager never gave me back my receipt. So I will not have the opportunity to verify what I was or was not charged $42.81 for.
I will definitely not be back to this location. Should we consider DQ again, I will drive the extra mile or two in the opposite direction and see what...
Read moreStaff needs customer service and food quality training. I just left the drive thru window completely unsatisfied and attempted to call the location but got no answer, so here we are. I had been craving the chicken strip basket so I stopped at this DQ for lunch. When I got to the window, a young Caucasian male took my payment. When handing me back my card, I asked if I could please have Buffalo sauce. He gave me a blank stare like I was dumb, didn’t say anything and closed the window. After a minute he comes back and says loudly “imma need 59 cents”…He was my first problem I encountered. I’ve worked in good service before and his attitude, tone, and choice of words is completely unacceptable! I understand we all have bad days but to talk to someone in that manner is not okay. I had no problem paying for my sauce, but “that will be 59 cents” would’ve been more acceptable and I would’ve been more receptive to someone speaking to me with some sense and respect. My second problem was the delivery of my food. I was given a box with no napkins, no silverware, not even a bag. My third problem was the quality of my food. I had maybe 10 fries total in my box, and my bread was indeed stale and cold. Completely unacceptable! This location should truly be ashamed of the quality of service and food that they are serving paying customers. There’s not one excuse that could justify my...
Read moreThis location has clearly changed ownership & management. I entered the facility on a Thursday afternoon w few customers dining in and/or ordering take out. Simple order -- an XL Chili Dog w no cheese (lactose intolerant) & extra onion. When the manager recalled order it was completely wrong. I walked through my request once more & he stated he understood and it also was to go. As I was sitting & waiting for my order the same gentleman brought food to the table unpackaged to go w cheese all over, no chili & a half RAW weiner. Losing patience I reiterated once more I'd clearly requested 2x before & now the 3rd time I wanted no cheese Xtra onion & a properly grilled weiner. Instead of apologizing and complying he argued what he entered on my receipt was different. I painstakingly had to inform him that was NOT what I ordered & this was now the 3rd time I'm explaining a very simple order. Next order literally had a raw weiner (sigh) Not sure if there was a language barrier because he was from a different country or he's just tremendously overwhelmed w even the most basic of orders. If you're ordering anything other than ice cream at this location you're screwed w this guy as a manager & at the...
