Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Frisco

Worse place to go if you're Black or African American. I went in to order and waited 15-20 minutes at the counter with a full staff and only a couple of customers (literally) other than myself. The other customers were white. The staff including the manager walked back and forth and never greeted me or acknowledged I was standing there but as soon as a white woman (one of the other customers I mentioned before) walked up and stood next to me, they stopped what they were doing and went out of their way to help her then she left and they still didn't acknowledge that I was there of take my order. This was blatant and totally disrespectful. They made eye contact with me several times so I knew they saw me.

This happened similarly the one and only time before about a week prior when I stopped to order but I brushed it off and gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back. But this was NO Coincidence! To further corroborate my experience, my sister-in-law who is also black and African American and who also stopped by our new neighborhood Einstein Bagel, I'm speaking about on hwy 380 and Coit Rd in Frisco, Texas; and got the same exact treatment I received! I never mentioned my experience to my sister-in-law. It was only when she mentioned her experience that I told her what happened to me. This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! Racism from an establishment that is run management and staff who are not even white definitely shouldn't be displaying this type of behavior (not to give white people a pass on this type behavior).

If you are African or of African descent do not spend your money there or waste your time being insulted and discriminated against. Boycott this locations totally and indefinitely! If you had a similar experience post it as well because this behavior is totally...

I wanted a nice breakfast by myself. The bagel was really good. But the employees ruined the dining experience. As a paying customer I shouldn’t have to listen to the worker watching a movie on her phone . She had the volume very loud. I’m assuming she was on break. The other workers were not friendly. No one smiled. They acted like I was an inconvenience. Considering they were slow I feel the dining room should have been clean. I was wrong, as every table was dirty with crumbs.
