This restaurant closes at 10:00 PM - we learned tonight that this means the kitchen closes at 09:30 PM and the entire team aims to leave at 10:00 PM - which equates to you having to watch the entire restaurant prepare to close, having to smell cleaning products during your meal. We walked in at 09:15 PM and the hostess immediately looked at her watch - RUDE. The waitress took us to our table and notified us that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes and asked if that was OK. Yes! - it was OK - we love this place and ordered our food immediately. Food was served incorrectly - which is not a surprised as we were rushed to order, so the waitress had to rush to put in the order - when we confronted the waitress, she blamed us. FINE! We assumed when the food came, the rushing would stop as we now had 30 minutes before the restaurant officially closed. This was not the case - we were hovered over - the check was dropped off before we finished our meal by a waitress who was not our waitress; then less than 1 minute later she’s asking if we’re ready to pay. We spent $155.00 plus tip in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday night - all the while having to watch the establishment clean as we tried to salvage our time together. In my opinion- this is unacceptable - if the owners would like their team to go home at 10:00 PM, then why stay open until 10:00 PM? We know this is not the employees fault and they’re doing what they’re directed to do, but I would ask the owners what are they thinking? Dinner should not be experienced like this, entering and leaving feeling like we are a bother; a simple, I’m sorry we’re closing the kitchen in 10 minutes and we can’t seat you at this time would’ve been the nice thing to do - there is a restaurant right next to their establishment that’s open late - we would’ve happily walked over there instead.

Super cute neighborhood sushi spot! Great for both families or date night. Staff was very friendly & attentive- service was great. Fish was super fresh and omg the salmon belly… just buttery-melt-in-your-mouth delish! Tons of hot dishes & apps to choose from also. We ordered the dumplings, karage, donkatsu, and cream pasta all for the kids and they loved everything! So many other plates I wanted to try so I def have to go back. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant and their staff. My fiancé and I went during their soft opening and instantly feel in love with the place. We enjoyed it so much we decided to invite mine and her family to celebrate my birthday.

The ambience at Nunu set the perfect tone for our celebration. The restaurant's decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere, making us feel right at home. The combination of cozy lighting, elegant furnishings, and a charming setting made it an ideal choice for a special occasion.

What truly elevated our experience were the exceptional staff members, Will and Daniel. They managed our large group with remarkable ease and grace. Their attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and their ability to accommodate our needs left us thoroughly impressed. Their service added a personal touch to our celebration, and we couldn't have asked for better hosts.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the food! Every dish we ordered was nothing short of extraordinary. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that left our taste buds dancing with joy. Whether it was the sushi rolls, sashimi, or any other delicacy, Nunu delivered top-notch culinary delights. It's safe to say that every dish we tried was out of this world good.

Our experience at Nunu was truly unforgettable. It was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday, and I'm grateful for the fantastic memories we created. I highly recommend Nunu to anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience with exceptional service and cuisine. This establishment has certainly earned its place in my heart as a go-to sushi haven. Thank you, Nunu and your staff, for making my...

Interior: Despite its small size, the place was tidy and cozy, which we appreciated.

Food Taste: Generally, the dishes were tasty, but they came at a high price compared to the portion sizes. Unusually, unlike other Japanese restaurants, basics like miso soup or salad need to be separately ordered.

Service: The staff members were all friendly. However, when groups order diverse dishes, it's essential for the staff to synchronize food arrival times so that everyone can dine together. During our first visit, we ordered sushi bowl, roll, tonkatsu, and stir-fried udon. On that day, the sushi came first, followed by the tonkatsu after 10 minutes. My ordered dish only came after everyone had finished eating. Family members had to wait silently until I finished my meal, and I couldn't enjoy my food entirely before leaving, attributing this to the early stages post-opening.

Yet, recently, I revisited with my daughter. We ordered fried oysters, sushi rolls, and a tonkatsu entree. Typically, appetizers should arrive before the main courses. However, this time, the sushi preceded the appetizer, and finally, the tonkatsu came. Once again, my tonkatsu came after my daughter finished her meal, leaving me to dine alone. Consequently, we ordered an extra udon, resulting in me not being able to enjoy my initially ordered tonkatsu.

Conclusion: Overpriced with lower quality and quantity compared to the price point. When placing food orders, they should consider the time it takes for dishes to arrive. I am not inclined to revisit. At this price and service level, I'd prefer traveling further for Sushi Sake...
