Sweet Rice — Restaurant in Frisco

So I hate to leave bad reviews, especially on Christmas Eve, but I was very disappointed... Decided to try this for the first time. The waitress stayed on her phone long after I had finished looking at the menu. I ordered Pinapple Fried Rice with tofu to go and she said it would be ten minutes. I ran across the parking lot to get a drink and came back and sat down up front. I was never greeted again. I sat and sat while the waitress talked to her friend or coworker, food came out and she sat it on the counter. I then here her several minutes later say "that food is for the woman parked out front (me), I dont know why she isnt coming in"... I stand up and walk over and she immediately looked embarrassed. Even if I hadn't been in the building (which she would have know if she looked around as the other woman had seen me waiting) what stopped her from bringing my food out rather than let it start to get cold. I decided it was fine and took my food and left. When I get home and ho to eat it it tastes like chicken... As a vegetarian I cant eat that so I try to call to verify there is no meat in this dish. The phone goes unanswered 2x. I call a different location of theirs and the woman answers and says it shouldnt have meat in it. They weren't closed so not sure why they didnt pick up. Now I have a nearly $13 meal I dont feel safe eating. Merry Christmas Eve to me!

Positives: it is a big helping if you dont worry about what is in your food. The place was empty so you could have a family gathering without worrying about...

I've eaten at this place quite a few times and I've had mixed experiences that leave me choosing other restaurants. The first time that I ordered from there I attempted to place a phone order, but the host put me on hold and never came back to the phone. I held from the time that I left work until I was about 7 mins away for a total of 17 minutes. When I tried to call back I kept getting a busy signal. Accidents happen so no big deal, besides they gave us a hearty amount and the flavors were on point. It's a little further from us than similar places, but it was good so no big deal.

Today's events have changed my mind about this place. We ordered the Basil Fried rice and of course it was delicious as always. Everything was as usual, except this time there was a hair in the food. At that point, about halfway through, we didn't eat anymore and I packed it up and brought it back today, as they were closed by the time we had day down to eat. When I brought it back and explained what happened I did not get an apology for the inconvenience of having to come back or for the hair in my food neither was I thanked for my patronage, instead it was pointed out that I had already eaten half of it.

This I'm my opinion, was unprofessional coming from the manager. He remade the order and was sure that the chef only made half an order. I will no longer drive out of my way or suggest this resturant to any of my neighbors, coworkers or friends. They have lost a...

Food is bad & nothing at all special. Server staff has a particularly dysfunctional roles & inexperienced. It was 8PM..it wasn't even packed & it looked like the team was panicking. Their portion sizes are too expensive. A combo fried rice for a dinner portion was served on a plate with bits of mixed meat as $13.99. I requested a salad hopefully for an appetizer right when I asked for drinks but it came late during mid-way when I started eating the main courses. The pricey papaya salad level 2 spice was also a bizarre small portion. A sliced chunk of cabbage was served with it. The papaya slices tasted a bit raw. It almost tasted like pickled radish instead. Server did not give AF when I told her that salad was bad. I could obviously tell she was contempt with what I said & ignored me.. Their beef pad thai (thai style) tasted like caramel sauce was just mixed in with the noodles. I could see that they don't only make their rice sweet.. For a dissatisfied party of three people..$50 had been wasted. A shame when this thai-fusion restaurant is in the same block with another thai restaurant. I should have eaten their food since Chili Thai has promising staff service compared...
