I get a bigger plate to go with no side. They can keep the noodles and rice. This seems to throw them off every time. Then when the server scoops the proteins I get a full scoop of one and half scoop of the second when i asked could I have a full scoop on my second portion, manager from the back yelled at the obviously new employee only one scoop. Then put two fingers to his eyes and then back at me and her. Then yelled at me just because you don't get sides doesn't mean you get more mains. I said "are you kidding me? I just want what I'm paying for... full scoops not half, especially since I'm not taking the sides I'm already getting charged for. He then comes from the back arguing with a scold he saw it was a full scoop and if I don't like it I can go!! Then I said so did I, I am standing right here in front. He then tried to throw me out again saying I needed to calm down or I can go. Form of gaslighting, making someone upset then telling them to calm down. When I immediately talked in a sarcastic whisper he still didn't want to sell me the food. The cashier did apologize for him while checking me out but this is an absolutely ridiculous way to treat a customer or employee. Especially over a couple of green beans when I left half the bigger plate meal there to begin with that I'm being charged for. He gave off a new manager vibe that he's going to make a big difference. Yes I bet he will, a negative one. No one should ever be treated like this and I doubt any of his employees will appreciate being talked to and reprimanded in front of customers like this. This panda is already barely edible most days but it is the closest one for me. I'll be driving...
Read more3.5 stars, really. Went in this last time and there was a big wet mess on the floor near the drink station. It needed to be cleaned, but only a "wet floor" cone was placed near it. Yes, it was lunch time - but safety is a priority. However, that was only 1 incident of multiple visits. Usually, the food is good. SOME of the people will readily offer large samples of specialty items and others act as if you are stealing money directly from their pocket. Once, I ordered a shrimp dish and asked IF the shrimp was freshly cooked. Instead of answering, she sighed and handed me a toothpick. I tried it and ordered it. I remarked that it was a small amount and she reminded me that I already ate one. Lol. I asked how many was usually served and she told me and reminded me again that I already ate one. I find it amusing. I actually usually weigh my food and decline samples and I guess I should be glad that she isn't about to let me cheat on my diet. On the other hand, I recently ordered an entree only with no rice and was only charged as an extra entree to my friend's plate, instead of the a la carte price. And that worker kept offering me samples (which I declined) as I perused the offerings and asked nutritional info. But, I will go here...
Read moreWe eat at Panda at least once a week. Their food and service is always good, but today their service was exemplary. It was raining and the drive thru line was very long so we went inside to find out you have to order online or drive thru. We went ahead and stood there and ordered online and Alanna, who works there, was so kind that she made sure to rush our order since it took a little while to put it in and we stepped outside and she brought our order to us. She remembered to put our extra teriyaki sauce in the bag and she was just so nice and so helpful, I almost felt like I was at a five star restaurant. I don’t usually write reviews, but with this wonderful service from a fast food restaurant, I felt Alanna deserved to be recognized for her great work ethic and fantastic service in her industry. Thank you, Alanna, and Panda Express. We’ll be back every week to see you!
Update-I forgot to mention that I left my credit card at the restaurant and Alanna called me right away and when I got back there she was waiting outside in the rain to give me back my card. Thanks again for the...
