If you’re ever in Little Elm and craving some seriously delicious, authentic pizza, Palio’s Pizza is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere sets the perfect stage for a great meal. But what really keeps people coming back—and what truly sets Palio’s apart—is the outstanding quality and flavor of their pizza.
First off, the crust is something special. It strikes the perfect balance between crispy and chewy, with just the right amount of golden-brown char that speaks to the expertise in their wood-fired oven technique. You can tell that the dough is made fresh daily, and it has that authentic Italian texture that’s light yet substantial enough to hold up all the generous toppings without getting soggy.
Speaking of toppings, Palio’s spares no effort in quality. Whether you’re a fan of classic pepperoni or something more adventurous like their specialty pies, every ingredient bursts with freshness. The cheese is rich and perfectly melted, creating that gooey, stringy goodness that pizza lovers dream of. Their tomato sauce is another highlight—bright, tangy, and perfectly seasoned, it complements the crust and toppings without overpowering them.
One thing I really appreciate is how customizable the menu is. Whether you want to stick to traditional Italian flavors or mix it up with unique combinations, Palio’s makes it easy to build the perfect pie. They also have great options for vegetarians and gluten-free eaters, so everyone can enjoy the experience.
Beyond the pizza itself, the staff at Palio’s Pizza are genuinely friendly and attentive. They create a welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home, whether you’re dining in or picking up a carryout. The service is quick without feeling rushed, and they’re always happy to offer recommendations if you’re unsure what to order.
The restaurant itself is cozy but not cramped, making it a great spot for family dinners, casual dates, or just grabbing a slice with friends. They also have a nice selection of beverages to pair with your meal, including local beers and Italian sodas, which round out the experience perfectly.
Overall, Palio’s Pizza in Little Elm is a true gem. It’s the kind of place where quality ingredients, skilled preparation, and genuine hospitality come together to create a pizza experience that’s hard to beat. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is one spot you won’t regret stopping at. Highly...
Read moreWe placed an order online, not only did we check the box for pie cut but we made a separate note to please pie cut the pizza. Upon getting home with the pizza we realized it was not pie cut, we called the restaurant just to inform them that this was the second time in a row that this had occurred, but the manager who was put on the phone refused to provide their name. So when we called to complain about the pie cut situation we just became more frustrated because the manager refused to provide their name. Yes, my boyfriend got upset about this and proceeded to get a little angrier, but I don't understand why the manager refused to supply their name. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I am in the restaurant industry and our GMs and managers always introduce themselves to any customer they approach or speak to on the phone. It is sad that whoever owns this restaurant is letting people run their store that don't understand what customer service is. It is sad too that they probably don't care, they're just glad they don't...
Read moreMy family and I were a little disappointed with this location. Palio's Pizza brand should serve same quality product, no matter where it is located. We ordered dine-in and take-out. From the beginning, the customer service was not great. The lady who took our order did not seem knowledgeable about the products Palio's Pizza Cafe offers and serves. When we got our pizza, it looked greasy. We ordered Noah's and Scorcher. The Noah's had minimum of ingredients that were covered with pretty greasy layer of cheese. In contrast, the Scorcher had an abundance of really big chunks of jalapeno peppers on it and barely any other ingredients. Later on, we asked to change our take out pizza. One of the employees, probably the supervisor, assured to change our take-out pizza, although it was already made. At the beginning, I thought about giving this location two stars. However, they did a god job on our take-out order. My only suggestion to the management is to provide better training...
