Update on my 3rd lunch: This will be the last one. We requested a South Indian thali, but they said they don’t have it on weekends and only a Navarathiri special thali is available. So we ordered, and the menu they shared for it sounded superb. After a couple of minutes, they served the usual South Indian thali with one additional gravy. They didn’t serve the drink or the appetizer, which was vada. When asked, they didn’t know and said the four chips they gave were the alternate appetizer. Likewise, none of the gravies or rice matched the menu, and everything was an alternate but not even up to the mark. The cups they gave were also only either half or three-quarters filled. On top of that, the rice was not a full bowl for the 4-5 sides. When asked, they gave extra charged rice, which was double the size they initially provided with the thali. The special thali was nothing but leftovers filled on a plate.
No more A2B.

This is my 2nd time here and tried their veg thali. It was an absolute delight! The thali was a vibrant spread of authentic South Indian flavors, featuring a variety of curries, dal, rasam, and perfectly spiced vegetables, all served with fluffy rice and soft rotis. The highlight was the creamy paneer curry and tangy sambar, which paired beautifully with the crispy papad. Each dish was fresh, well-balanced, and bursting with traditional spices, making every bite a celebration of Indian vegetarian cuisine. The portion size was generous, and the unlimited servings truly lived up to the hype—perfect for savoring every flavor. The servers and staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, ensuring our meal was seamless and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the cozy atmosphere. The vibrant presentation of the thali and the restaurant’s cleanliness made the experience feel like a festive treat. If you’re in Little Elm and craving a hearty, authentic veg thali, A2B is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreNothing we ordered tasted like authentic A2B - the kind you get on the East Coast (NJ/VA/MA). We were truly disappointed, especially as loyal customers of A2B from this region. Not sure why recipes change based on location/management, but this experience fell completely flat for us.
We ordered the dahi kebab, veg fried rice, gobi, and moringa leaf soup. The dahi kebab had an unexpected sweet undertone, which felt off. Same with the gobi, the sweet sauces completely overpowered the essence of it. Even the veg fried rice, which should be simple - veggies, garlic, and light or no sauce, came out brown and tasted like it was tossed in a sauce that dominated its actual flavor. It didn’t resemble the usual version in any sense, so didn’t bother taking a picture. They have never been sweet at the East Coast A2B locations (thankfully). The moringa soup was refreshing, but way too tangy. Probably the only item that didn’t completely disappoint.
As a brand with multiple locations across India and the US, one would expect consistency. We were shocked to find the same dishes looking and tasting so drastically different from what we usually enjoy in NJ. Presentation for all dishes was good, but taste-wise, the experience felt like a complete waste of $50.
I’m genuinely disappointed that A2B as a brand allows such variation in quality. It’s unfortunate that anyone dining here might believe this is representative of what A2B truly offers. I strongly urge you to visit an East Coast location (preferably NJ), to experience the authentic flavor that...
Read moreNothing we ordered tasted authentic A2B. Not sure if recipes depend on the management but I was truly disappointed with the food since I’m a loyal customer of A2B on the east coast. Ordered dahi kebab, veg fried rice, gobi, and moringa leaf soup. The dahi kebab had sweet hints to it, which I found very abnormal and so did the fried rice. Same with the gobi - The sweet sauces were way too dominating. Not how it tastes in any of the A2Bs in New Jersey (thankfully). I ordered a regular veg fried rice for takeout (which should be white). And is white. In other A2Bs. But the one I got here, was orange, almost looked like a schezwan fried rice and did not taste good at all. Didn’t even bother taking a picture. As a brand, with a chain of restaurants across India and the US, customer expect taste and quality to be consistent. I was shocked that the exact same item looked and tasted completely different from what I usually order. Felt like I wasted $50 bucks easy. Moringa soup was refreshing but extremely tangy. Presentation for everything was good. I’m terribly disappointed that A2B as a brand allows this kind of variation in taste across branches. I’m sorry about everyone who is eating here and settling for this, please visit any A2B in NJ to taste what A2B truly has to offer. Atmosphere is okay but will never...
