I’ve been a fan of your bar since I lived across the street and even when I moved away. I’ve always remembered your establishment and here’s a couple reason why. A bartender named Courtney is one of the sweetest, attentive, experienced bartender I’ve encountered. She remembers everyone’s name. I didn’t come to Bigs for a couple years and she immediately greeted me like she just saw me. That’s a very small but very nice gesture that I’m so impressed to see time and time again. She’ll even ask about something I told her last time I saw her and I’m so surprised because I imagine she has a very high number of customers that she remembers too. She’s top notch and could work at a very high end place that makes triple revenue of Bigs and deserves to be awarded for her hard work. I hope the owners or management give her the validation that she is a fantastic bartender that is in the top percentile that is a treat to see over the decade I’ve been coming in. The food is also a great combo because it’s tasty on a level several layers above a typical sports bar. That’s an important trait of why I like your bar as well. It’s low key sophisticated which is lovely. Flavors are very intended and impressive for the simple food you serve. Cheers to the head chef and I’m a big fan of so many items on the menu. I’ve been coming to your bar for a decade and it’s consistently been a good experience. Everything stayed at the level you set which is so cool because that’s a tough culture to keep alive. In a side note I hope you bring back build your burger Monday’s because that was my a fun time for a Monday. I understand it won’t be $5 but I’d pay $20 which I understand could be a tough sell for your customer demographic. Cheers to entire team and Bigs will always be my go to for a...
Read moreI usually have a good time here, but last night was utterly amazeballs. Having the waitress and security guard that looks like he got kicked out of a low level g*ng cause he couldnt cut it, walk around the parking lot trying to get a 30 dollar tab paid. I don't know if the waitress was trying to take advantage of my friends and I because we had been drinking and thought she could charge us for stuff we didn't order and we wouldnt notice, but she screwed up my bill TWICE. I shouldn't have to walk over to tell the server they messed up nor should I be waiting around 20-30 minutes for her to come back around to fix this issue. I thought maybe she was new, so I was going to cut her a break but as it turns out she has been working here for a while now. I love how she tried to tell me that it comes out of her paycheck when people dine and dash. Oh honey. Never apologized for screwing up my bill either time as well which I also found comical. I DID pay my tab AFTER she finally corrected it. Just be aware of these waitresses. Their scandalous. But other than that, good atmosphere...
Read moreSaturday (5/11/24) I went to Big's and brought in a water bottle and the guy working there went out of his way to tell me that I could not drink that inside, there it had to be outside. Went to do so, could not say Hi to my friends when 10 seconds in he tried to yell and be confrontational in front of all the other patrons, including my friends that I was on camera drinking water (alright then?) Went to the alleyway to finish and while he was out there and he continued to lecture me, talk over me, asking rhetorical questions as if he were smarter than me, getting in my face so I left. Not to mention I was limping so I would not have posed as a threat anyways. He was about 6 foot, bearded with a man bun that felt the only person he could confront in the bar was me. So as long as you aren't coming in with a limp, crutches, or any other medical ailments, he most likely...
