Del Taco — Restaurant in Fullerton

Sadly will be the worst review I’ve ever given a restaurant….

I've been eating at Del Taco for over 40 years, and this was, hands down, the WORST meal I've ever been served at ANY Del Taco, or ANYWHERE ELSE for that matter in years.

The quesadillas were both soggy and undercooked, completely inedible. The fries were cold and undercooked, also inedible. The beans in the bean burrito were cold.

Honestly, this meal couldn't have been much worse. I wouldn't be surprised if there's food poisoning in my future. It'll be a long time before I eat at ANY Del Taco again, and I certainly won't be visiting this location ever again.

Reading from your reviews, I’m not the first person to take issue with your food quality. You guys need to get your shit together. It’s a nice new restaurant, but you’re just turning out garbage and burning your customers. It’s bad enough when there’s nobody to take your order like you guys do now, but this was the worst. You should seriously be embarrassed.

P.S. I contacted Del Taco corporate about this. That's a first for me. It was so bad that something needs to be said. It looks like since this place reopened. It’s gone downhill fast. Del Taco and I were both born the same year, and I started eating there at about 16 years old. I've eaten there pretty regularly ever since. I could count on it. I guess you can’t count on anything anymore.

I’ll wrap it up on a positive. The restaurant is beautiful. It’s the nicest looking fast food place I’ve seen of late. That’s a definite plus.

Follow-up: No response from anyone including corporate. Honestly Im not surprised. Just disappointed. Prices go up, quality goes down and nobody who should give a shit...

Every time there is a gentleman I get amazing customer service but for some reason every time I have a woman I get rushed and little to no customer service.

11/10/24: Very disappointing. Ever since they upgraded into the new building, I have received terrible quality food. For tonight, I went through the drive-through and I was only missing one item, my small snack taco. I went into the restaurant and asked about it. He said it should be in there so I went back out to my car to double check. Then I brought in my bags to show him. It was not in there. He then asked for others to make it, and I stood there for another seven minutes waiting for the snack taco made because they had a bigger order snack pack in the drive-through. The manager even came in and started talking to the lead for a while while we were still waiting for our taco. I finally received my snack taco and I had to start eating my nachos in the store before they got soggy. And then once I got home to open my snack taco it was even more disappointing. Only half of it is filled. The other half is completely empty. I am very disappointed by the service and the food quality absolutely terrible. I will definitely be going to a different Del Taco...

Complete lack of professionalism from nighttime staff. I work within the shopping center so I eat lunch and dinner at Del Taco at least 5-7x a week. After being treated horribly in March at 3AM by the tall young Hispanic male where he began the interaction aggressively shouting “what do you want!” and speaking with a complete lack of respect or professionalism as if it was an inconvenience that I wanted to order food at that time , my regular visits have become extremely poor as well as intimidating by the other staff members as a result of the young Hispanic male, with now visible evidence of my harassment as well as reason to believe that my food has been tampered with as retaliation by other staff members (attaching photo of elderly looking Hispanic female staring at me and my car through the drive through window and laughing)! I highly reccomend HR watch the video cameras of how their staff conducted themselves, laughing and staring aggressively to the point of making me uncomfortable and having to leave when they saw me walk into the restaraunt at 8:02 PM...
