Cozy place that now accepts credit and debit cards, but can't adjust that info because of course Maps isn't that user friendly.
It's a 3% fee for card use, which is important info that can't easily be added.
Got a side of fries, onion rings, and a burger.
Fries basically flowed out the bag, while it felt like I kept pulling onion rings out the bag.
After dividing the fries and plating everything, I saw how much food I got for a low price.
Flavor is well, as you'd expect. The fries taste a bit different but are your usual mok n pop type of fries, while the onion rings have a weaker flavor when compared to Varsity Burgers. But, unlike Charlie's Best, they reliably have onion rings. The burger was good. I could really taste the beef. It's got the mom n pop taste without the price, though I'm not sure if you can customize the burgers.
Other reviews mention burgers that are not on the current menu.
7.99 for a medium combo with 1.30 if you'd like to add onion rings instead of fries. Combo price increases slightly if you'd like cheese, as well. While I didn't get this, I probably would at some point. Under 10 for a single lunch? Unbelievable.
Definitely worth...
Read moreI wanted to love this place so bad. The reviews are off the hook. First time through the parking lot I couldn't find a spot, wow it must be good. Finally found parking went inside, the place is jumping. I came here cause I heard word that they had the best breakfast burrito in the universe. I get up to the counter and order two breakfast burritos. I give my bank card and the lady responds "CASH ONLY". The only reason a business operates "cash only" this day and age is to rip us off. Sure they have an atm inside the place, but It charges $1.75 plus the cost my bank charges me. Instead of just raising the price of the food to offset the cost they pay for me to use my card they punish me for not carrying cash. Of course the other reason they are "cash only" would be they are skimming cash off the top so they won't pay taxes on it. So if your like me and don't carry cash don't come here and embarrass yourself with 5 others standing right behind you. I never got to taste the food. I'm sure it's good but I will...
