I recently visited Houston to visit friends and stumbled upon a hidden gem - a restaurant that served the most amazing Japanese Nagoya Style fried chicken wings. From the first bite, I was blown away by the incredible flavor and crispiness of these wings. I couldn't get enough!
The seasoning was spot-on, with a perfect balance of savory, sweet, and umami flavors that left my taste buds dancing with delight. The wings were cooked to perfection, with a juicy and tender interior and a crispy, golden-brown exterior that was simply irresistible.
Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making my dining experience even more enjoyable.
If you're a fan of Japanese cuisine or fried chicken wings, this place is a must-visit! I can't recommend it enough. I'm already dreaming of my next trip to Houston just to have these wings again. Five stars all the way!

The food looked amazing too! That being said the food tasted bad. I got wings with ume plum which the dry rub itself was delish but the inside of the chicken was really gross, had an odd taste I canāt describe Iām not sure if there was maybe something wrong with the batch I got. The sauce wings which I chose fuku orange had no visible sauce on them and the flavor was very mild didnāt really taste like much and again the chicken inside the wing was odd and had weird aftertaste. š®āšØ The drink I got was a kumquat lemon drink which was very good and customizable for your level of sweetnessāŗļø idk if we went on a bad day considering all the amazing reviews but I couldnāt even finish my wings and I unfortunately got a 12 piece in which I tried to just peel the top parts that looked ok and throw the rest. My sister got a chicken sandwich. The inside of the chicken was sponge like and had gray parts that she couldnāt finish it either. The fries were...

Definitely gives me KFC(Korean fried chicken)vibes but Japanese.
Iāll break down what I ordered and why the rating .
Sauces - I was able to pick 2 flavors on 12 wings . Osaka sweet chili quite flavorful with a very minimal kick The other I chose dry rub Fire Cracker. Which was ehh
Wings- after looking at pictures and all wings looks like they have been tossed in sauce . If you look at my pictures sauce was just drizzled on top. Batter wasnāt tasty at all with it being drizzled I had to ask for more sauce . Seems a bit half assssed . Even the dry rub wasnāt that tasty .
Service - cashier was nice and helpful to recommend flavors to me. I ordered combo with my wings which is fries and drink. After I ordered I was told they ran out of cups. Customers came in after me to pick up to go . Which all had to wait . Someone from the back had to leave the store to pick up more cups . Seems like poor management and quality control .
Wish I never came and got my money back. All this for $28 lunch . Quite pricey for 12pc and bad...
