Fuji Sushi, Smaller Mom & Pop feel restaurant Did a Saturday Lunch. Special Value Lunch Meals available 1130am-230pm everyday.

Positives: 1) We did 2 Bento Bowls, Yakatori Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken. Base Price $17.95 plus $1.50 to upgrade to fried rice.

2. Portions this meal are large, could easily feed 2 with one of these bad boys. Bento Meal Includes Medium Salad with Asian Version Thousand Island Dressing (enjoyed their dressing a lot, had an extra brought over for dipping), Miso Soup (good but not outstanding), main entree (chicken , steak or shrimp… ours included two chicken breasts on each plate), Around five pieces of tempura veggies (Very tasty), Rice (White, Brown or Fried), 3 Pieces of Fried Pot Sticker type item, and 2 California Rolls (Crab, Zuccini, and white rice wrap).

Food Ratings: Salad 5/5 (great dressing, good portion), Miso Soup 3/5 (ok), Tempura Veggies 5/5 California Rolls 5/5 (not a sushi guy but I liked it, wife would have preferred a Crunchy CA Roll), Eel Sauce 5/5 (had to request it), Yakitori Chicken 3.8/5 (bit spicey, good heat, good portion, hot off the stove but was expecting something a little different…chicken also a bit on the dryer side). Fried Rice 3/5 (ok but not a stand out, needed a bit more flavor, Pot Stickers 4/5 (good but not outstanding) Tempura Sauce good…5/5, Iced Tea 3/5 Average

Overall 4/5 good portions, overall good flavors with sauces added, served quickly, served hot.

Service: Overall Good, waitress pretty attentive and friendly 4/5

Cons: Atmosphere/Decor…3/5 nothing special, dining area clean but A/C too cold.

They would not extend their lunch special pricing even though we were just a few minutes past 230pm. 😕

Teriyaki Chicken that I sampled 3/5…good, bit dry, a bit under whelming on flavor.

My sister and brother in law recommended this place to me after I asked where they get their sushi delievered from. I called to check if they delivered to where I live, South Mason Rd, and the lady on the phone said we were technically out of their delivery zone. She said depending on what I order, they will make the trip out here, free delivery. I ordered the sushi dinner, sweetheart roll (recommended by brother in law), and the houston roll. She said the order would take about 40 minutes to get here. Totally reasonable considering I'm about 20 minutes away and it was storming hard where we are. They delivered within the hour, and the food was delicious! I've tried eel sushi before, and I did not like it. I decided to try one of my husband's houston roll, and it was really good. I now like eel, but only from here. The sweetheart roll is delicious. We also enjoyed the sushi dinner platter. It was a variety of sushi, and the tuna one was the best out of the whole dinner platter. Perfect dinner. Great customer service. Very polite on the phone, delivery guy was really nice. Poor guy had to drive through the storm, and then apologized for the inconvenience of being late. Will definitely order again and maybe go out...

THE BEST FRIED RICE, ever. I got the steak fried rice, and it's much different from traditional Chinese fried rice. It's so good, taste so fresh and the steak is never hard to chew it's always cooked to perfection. I've been here with my family multiple different times and I can defiantly say they are consistent as well. The customer service is wonderful, all the staff we have encountered with have been kind and taken care care of us. The sushi is amazing! It's very fresh every time we have it. The seasoning of the chicken is so good and comes with this delicious sweet sauce. THE PORK EGG ROLLS - amazing! crunchy goodness every time! The ramen noodles were great too, the broth had such a great flavor. Everything we've tried has been great and we will keep coming back here. Not pictured is the steak with noodles, also so good.
