Saigon USA Pho and Grill — Restaurant in Katy

Don’t spend money here!! Pho broth super salty, smelled too much like anise. I had to pour water into the broth and it was still like eating a block of salt. Do you even taste your own broth? Disappointed and shrimp in spring roll was gummy in the middle. The decorations are nice but the food sucks now. Vegetables on the plate hanging off the side and cilantro was too limp and flavorless. At least the egg roll came out hot in the middle. And they have a giant stack of cardboard boxes on the floor which is a food safety violation. I am so disappointed in the food. The first red flag was that nobody was eating here on December 26, at 2:30 pm. A good place is usually busy. And the only other table didn’t even eat any food they just had drinks. How can you call this a pho restaurant??

Edit: I never got my refund back after they said they were open on Christmas Day, 2025, and they said they transported broth from another location which is 1+ hour drive away! No wonder my partner and I both vomited 3 times after eating here....

So I ordered the Japanese Style Saute Chicken Ramen, and did not come as seen on the grub hub picture. There was no soup included with the meal and it was bland. It's my first time ordering from this place, so I wasn't paying attention to the description I only saw the picture and just assumed. I guess it isn't their fault completely but I tried getting a partial refund or at least some sort of compensation. I am really disappointed probably won't back.

Reply: Yes you did mention that over the phone when I called back to ask about my order. I've posted pictures to clarify were the miscommunication was. That is your "online order" menu and shows a soup associated with the item I ordered. I am a local and always support my local restraunts, so when you brushed me off and repeated the same thing you replied with here. You couldn't even offer me a partial refund for the mistake. That is no way to treat a customer! Please at least fix the picture associated...
