I visited Piada on a Saturday evening, right before it got extremely busy. I have to say, it was quite a chaotic experience. I do want to start off by saying the team lead/head chef lady (I am unsure of her name or her exact job title, but I think it was Chef Prayer based on things said in other reviews… I could be wrong though) was doing her absolute best with what seemed like a somewhat incompetent team. She was handling taking orders/initially dealing with customers as they walk in, starting their orders, cooking pasta as it finished, explaining what the customer ordered to the coworker next to her (who I can only assume was new/in training bc of how confused he seemed), delegating other tasks to other coworkers who seemed to be chilling in the back during dinner service, making sure everything was running smoothly, and even had to constantly communicate with the cashier 15 feet away. This is a lot of work for any one person to handle so I have zero complaints toward this extremely professional and hardworking lady. My issue was with the ordering line itself and the person in charge of toppings. I ordered alfredo pasta, the person in front of me ordered pesto pasta and TWO people behind me, a man ordered a salad. This sounds like random information but it is actually quite relevant. When the chef took my order, there wasn’t enough pasta so she started to boil some to add to my order, however kept taking orders for the people behind me (which is fair, nbd, it was a growing line). Since there was no pasta passed down to the Toppings person, he just had my little pan of alfredo sauce. He asked the man in-front of me what he wanted in his pasta, to which he replied pesto (and other ingredients), and the Toppings man began adding it to MY pan of sauce. I figured I was mistaken, it must not have been my pan. However, the pesto pan just sat there waiting, while the man paid for his food and left. ??? Then the aforementioned salad guy two people behind me started adding more confusion to the situation by constantly coming up behind me to add toppings to his salad, despite it not really being his turn. In the end he also paid and left with his food. Finally, the pasta for my order was cooked and ready and the Toppings worker started pouring (what I assumed was my) pasta to the alfredo with toppings dictated by a stranger. I then asked the head chef if this was my alfredo order. She said “yes” and I said “ok, but he (toppings guy) didn’t even ask me what I wanted? We never spoke, those are not my toppings??” The chef was visibly annoyed at the coworker and told him to immediately dump it out, which he did. I got my correct pasta order in the end, a bit more al dente than I normally would eat. It was a large, very filling quantity of food, so that would be nice if not for the al dente issue! I still ate it though and the parmesan bread stick was actually really delicious, so I would definitely recommend that. Overall, It felt strange that the middle toppings guy asked a completely other random person for what they wanted in a sauce not meant for them, and despite that person leaving, was going to give me that food. It’s understandable to make a mistake of mixing up orders, but it seems really wild to not notice your mistake at that point and rectify the issue without having to be told. Not talking to me and clarifying this was my order just felt so crazy.. it feels like the bare minimum to simply double check and look up and see the person who added those toppings isn’t even there anymore. the rest of the service was fine, it was just a really odd experience and I might just stick to online ordering in the future… and maybe not from this location.

Update: Right after I've posted a review, I received a reply from a manager asking me to contact him and he will give a gift card to me. I was busy working and didn't really paid much attention to it, also, I don't really care about the gift card. However, a week or so passed by I was going to read it to see what the manager has to say but the replied was mysteriously disappeared. Well with that, I took my review for it down to one star. My review on Google maps is to provide people with my experienced with places I've been to. I don't make any money out of it or look for a way to get a free meal from a restaurant please fix your problem for the good of your customers, it's simple as that I kept seeing the restaurants in a few locations I had to try it out. Overall, I'm not too impressed, food was alright, staffs are not friendly, and dirty restroom. I really hoped that I'd like it but it wasn't meant to be

I went to Piada for the first time today around 9:30pm and there was a very nice lady-Chef Prayer -who served us. You walk in and order just like how you would at cava/chipotle, but unlike those places this place serves pasta or noodles instead of rice(which I found very delicious).I made a mistake in putting strawberry on pasta but the lady there was so kind she offered to remove it from the bowl and put it in a separate one. Also whenever I didn’t know what something was or needed help choosing, chef Prayer was there to recommend what to put on pasta. Their drink cups are also massive !😂The food is very affordable and I do think you get more food than you would get at chipotle. I will definitely be returning sometime in the future!

My husband and I ordered Piada this evening. This is actually my third try to this location. The Piada in Ohio is delicious but this one I’ve had a terrible experience. This is my third time trying them in my last time for sure. The last time, my son and I went, the food was so salty. I had the calamari I couldn’t even eat it. It was like my blood pressure pressure was going up the moment I taste it Tonight. My husband and I ordered and I paid an upgrade to add the salmon to my order and got home we picked it up drove to the place and got home and my food did not have salmon in my basil pasta which I paid almost $15. I called the restaurant and they refunded me only four dollars and some change for adding the salmon. My bowl was so small. It was totally not worth it. I will definitely not be back to this location. They should’ve refunded me my complete amount that I paid since my food was not correct terrible service and when I called it sound like they were playing around and that’s probably how they forgot to add my protein to my entire meal. Terrible service I will not be back to this location. I was so excited to see Prada finally in Katy because they’re so good in Ohio. I will definitely have to wait until I go home to eat this again. I will definitely not be going to the location and Katy on FM 1463 is a waste of time...

I typically eat at this restaurant every day. I will either do lunch or dinner. I love the fact that they offer vegan options and have meats available as well. Unfortunately, I recently contracted food poisoning from this restaurant. I don't eat traditional fast food this was my go to fast food place. Due to the vegan options. Therefore, I'm 1000000% positive I contracted the food poisoning from here. There is alot of cross-contamination going on. There are atleast 3 to 4 people touching your pasta or piada while its being made. Despite the employees wearing gloves. Cross contamination can still occur with unclean gloves. There are also flys around the food and landing on the food while its being prepared. This incident is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about their food safety practices. Despite being a regular customer, I cannot recommend this place anymore and will no longer eat here. Avoid at all costs if you value...
