Since moving Holly Springs about 3 years ago, I have been looking for a locally owned coffee shop (Holly Springs/Fuquay) in the area that has good coffee and is good to work from on my one day a week where I don't go into the office. I decided to give Cultivate a try today. I am really glad I did. They have a good coffee selection and not overwhelming at all. Their pour over (I got the light roast) was very good and so was the price. I got a scone type breakfast item that had bacon, cheese and scallions. That was really good as well. Later I got a honey cinnamon latte and was equally impressed. After leaving to go get lunch, o came back to finish the day and got their nitro cold brew, which again, was very good. Working wise, their WiFi was perfect for working and the environment had just enough background noise but never too loud. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I had questions or asked for suggestions. They also have good pastry, cupcake and ice cream options. (homemade I think??) I think I found my new go to for my "wfh" day. You should definitely give them a try if you haven't.

I've been in a few times. We usually go after story time with friends, but this time it was just me and my little guy. I love the variety of baked goods and ice cream they have. The coffee....meh.... I'm from Seattle.... Coffee was likely in my bottle as a child (not really, but really) the prices are what I would expect from a local shop, but in my past experiences the coffee didn't always live up to the price. I'm a mom of all boys, I need something that Lorelei Gilmore would order...better yet a legit IV drip of coffee. Out of the 5-10 times I've been, today was the FIRST day that they've had nitro available β˜οΈβ˜€οΈβ˜οΈπŸ˜‡ 🎢 and let me tell you, although very bitter vs a majority of the nitros I've had, it got me through the day πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ Best Cultivate experience yet πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ My only grip when it comes to the seating (which is fabulous btw) is the the kids tables are right next to your thermostat and a key that looks like it just wants to be turned....and they're all within reach of a curious kid.... Maybe there's a clear box type cover you can put over it.

Walked in the other day, yes it was early and I saw that the staff behind the counter were still setting up, but I also saw that the place did have several customers sitting, eating their pastries and drinking their coffee, so I stood there waiting for them to service me, patiently. The girl behind the counter saw me, smiled and nodded and I acknowledged this. She just kept going back and forth, setting things up while 2 other male workers were doing the same. I was on my cellphone, talking to a friend but still standing in front, patiently waiting for someone to take me order. A woman came in, she went to the counter, stood next to me and was serviced right away. Now, I am a person of color and usually I don't pull that card but I was stunned to see her get taken cared of right away. I just stood there, not believing what just took place. I said something like "I was here first". The lady customer apologized, but the girl behind the counter kinda just had a face of "Oh, really?" So, I walked out. This seemed like a nice place. I'm new to the area, retired and I was looking for a nice morning "hangout" for my coffee and possible meet-ups with friends but, I guess not.

Revised: I thank you for writing back and I did acknowledge that I was on the phone when I arrived but I also WAS NOT 4 to 5 Feet away from the counter. I was on line, next to the cash register, waiting to be served. Eye to Eye contact, the smileb and the nod, should've been enough for the counter person to have asked me if I was was ready...
