I highly recommend taking a pottery class at Piedmont Pottery. My partner and I took the Introduction to Clay class and loved it. Over the course of three, two-hour classes (every Thursday for three weeks), Jeff taught us different methods of working with clay (pinch pot, coil, slab) and glazing techniques.
