I think a lot of us know what to expect when you go to a Mexican restaurant in America. Casa Amigos does bring a fresh of breath air in my opinion. The taste of the food is great and rich with flavor and the atmosphere/decorations is well done and pleasant to look at. I have noticed a lot of modern Mexican restaurants are going for the over the top decorations to make it look to what Americans have an idea Mexico restaurant and culture look like. Sometimes it can be a lot and my mother is Mexican and I’m Puerto Rican. I’ve visited Mexico all my life and have dined at several Mexican restaurants in Mexico. Casa Amigos does have the look, the tatse, and the closness to Mexican authenticity.
This is a nice gem in downtown Fuquay that I recommend more people to go to. They make their own home made corn tortillas which you will see the station when you come in. It’s very family friendly and the staff is welcoming and attentive. If you are just coming in to drink, the bar is a nice size with specialty drinks most people will like. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend visiting this place to grab some good food and it’s open 7...
Read more🤤 The best Mexican in Fuquay Varina, you can fight me on it lol! We have been FREQUENTING since they reopened in 2024. The fresh guacamole is THE BEST ever. Entrees I always get either the carnitas, carne asada, or the birria tacos (no cheese-I don’t do dairy). My husband has MANY favorites as well but can’t name them. He would add their French fries are delicious (yes we have ordered them with our Mexican food because they are tasty), and we don’t often drink sodas but we will split a fountain coke here because it’s the best coke 🤤🤌🏼🥤
The owners and staff are pleasant, lovely and attentive. Thank you for taking care of us!
The building remodel from the OG El Dorado is stellar!

Read moreWe came here for dinner yesterday. The service was not bad, the food was..not great quite honestly. The quesabirra tacos were really bland and dry. The Pollo la crema was overly processed cheese tasting. Our bill was somehow $75 dollars, there was only three of us and we each got a plate at $15.99 each, and 3 drinks. No appetizers or desserts. Not sure how it got to $75, we did not get a receipt. We tipped 20% but that was not even close to $75. My partner said the guy was rushing them at the table to checkout and didn't check thoroughly, which is our fault, but we will not be back because it feels like we were taken advantage of, or there was a mistake on the receipt that was not addressed...
