One thing I cannot stand is terrible customer service!! The FLOYD BAKER BLVD MCDONALDS in Gaffney SC needs a real good lesson in customer service skills and ethics especially the associates working the drive thru . To be the 3rd car in line (the line furthest from the building because we all know the inside line can never pull out from the bay) and it only takes literally 5 minutes not even for it to be my turn to order, I pull up and greeted by an actual person ( not a recording ) with “may I take your order” or something to that affect, I get out the first meal on my order and SILENCE, Not “is that all” or “would you like anything else”.... complete silence. I wait 5-8 minutes and say “Hello”…. No response and still continue wait a good 10ish minutes meanwhile the first line is steady going through car after car and their orders are even pulling up on MY BAY SCREEN! So again but very firm, “HELLO ARE YOU THERE?”. Can you guess? Yes, no freaking response. I even call the phone number to ask a manager to come and take my order cause this is ridiculous but no answer there either after 2 tries. So I proceed to yell “HELLO” this time and still no response.…the line is growing longer and longer so I speed off and whipped my car around that building so fast and into a parking spot, walked myself in there and said what I had to say to the manager (very sweet lady btw) but she proceeds to offer me a free item or even a 20% discount, but I declined because it’s not that I can’t pay for my order or want free items, customers shouldn’t be ignored for whatever reason. Read moreThe last 4 times I have tried to get food here I can never actually make it to the window. For some unknown reason they have a fleet of elderly turtles running the place. About a month ago, I got off work early and tried to get some nuggets. It was like 10pm or close to that. I sat there for 40 minutes still, paid for 20 nuggets (got 15 I counted cause I know what 20 nuggets supposed to weigh like) they was cold and rubbery, fries were awful, tea was literally just half water I believe, and no sauce. I went just an hour ago to get something cause I seen the line was short. There was maybe 7 cars there. I sat there beside that menu for 25 minutes and the line never moved. The only person working was some old guy beside the drive thru putting boxes in that door that goes to the kitchen. Car behind me backed out and left and then I did the same. Went to BK over on Hyatt Street. They had a line out to the gas pumps, sat there for 10 minutes and had my food. This McDonald’s used to be good now it’s awful. It regularly gets outperformed by BK on Hyatt Street now when it used to be the other way around. Yall need to go hire the crew BK has cause they actually know what they’re doing unlike McDonalds on the blvd. Pitiful....

I did a mobile order, went to the first window, got a receipt, went to the second window & was asked what my order was (a common occurrence here), & they STILL attempted to hand me someone else’s. Apparently my mobile order had been taken by someone in the lobby - some random man came in, told them they had an order for “Hannah” & they gave it to him - even tho it was specifically for the drive thru. So after verifying with my receipt AND my phone that I did indeed place the order & hadn’t got it myself (??), they told me they would remake it. I never complained, was not rude, I told them no problem, I wasn’t in a hurry. I had ordered a 6 count nugget Happy Meal with fries, apple slices, & honey mustard & a large snack wrap meal (so that’s large everything). I got the Happy Meal with no apple slices or honey mustard & I got a watered down drink & medium fries that were COLD, hard, & half full? Plus these snack wraps they’ve brought back are trash but that’s a universal McDonald’s issue, not just this one.
