This was my first time going to brusters ever, and it was a 5 ☆ experience until I paid. The girl that took our order was very sweet and patient with us. My son wanted mint chocolate (which they were out of) but the girl quickly made an alternative suggestion which she let my son sample and ended up loving. I sampled the double chocolate chunk, but the chunks were a little too hard for my taste, so I ended up going with regular chocolate, which was great. I used a coupon in Bruster's App, making my total $0.31. I paid for my ice cream using my card and here is where it goes from a 5☆ to one ☆, the Manager got upset that I used my card to pay. I apologized and told her no one told me I couldn't pay with a card. She asked me if I didn't have cash to pay, I replied no. She stated the merchant has to pay a fee for the credit card payment. I told her I was unaware and she said, she would have asked me to pay with cash if she knew I was paying with a card. I told her she needed to keep some of her comments to herself as she was upset and taking it out on a customer. Clearly she has some managing issues and could be proactive, and communicate better with her employees for situations like this. So came to Bruster's Sunday night the whole family which included two dogs stood in line forever. Then when the side window was clear and some one would go next we where the ones next line get to the window and was told they wheren't taking orders at that window and we had to get back in line which was now even longer. So in line for another 20 minutes next in lone again and the girl at the front window says you have to go to the side window. Really a bunch of kids running the place I got so made that by the time we got around to the side window the girl was like you have to go to the front window.
