Firehouse Subs Shallowford — Restaurant in Gainesville

Am very excited to see that firehouse is collaborating with Hot Ones to make a delicious sandwich. Firehouse has never been afraid to bring the heat with there sandwiches. As a heat seeker, i have been very very excited to try this sandwich. I went to this location with hopes that they could give me a great review of the sandwich. The girl that took my order was very helpful and recommended the reaper sandwich. The crew they had last night was very friendly and helpful.

The manager was there and was super friendly. He seemed excited that i choose this location over there other local locations. You don't see that much anymore nor do you see a manager actually be nice to the employees anymore either.

Flavor wise of the sandwich was very tasty. In my mind, i thought the sandwich was gonna be much hotter than what it actually was. But the acidity of the pickle helped kick it up just a notch. Maybe, my heat sensitive is just more than others.

This heat seeker will definitely be back for more.

Online order... Food...only thing...sun chips cheddar was chosen...none in restaurant Service...two things...employees didn't tell me there wasn't any sun chips cheddar...they just chose sun chips salsa...apparently thinking I liked those....I don't. I knew I had an online order placed to be ready at 11am. I stood where the sign says to stand. The lady asked in a kinda rude way..did I have an online order...I said yes. She said she would start working on it. It was 15 minutes until 11am. Unless she was really good, she would be pushing it get to make mine in 15 minutes bc of what I ordered. I didn't look back at the clock to see. Some places would've already had it done. I saw atleast 3 employees working. There was possibly more. This type of restaurant is very busy. I was there possibly 30 minutes....3 customers showed. Atmosphere...first customer...very quiet...clean.

I was here 3 weeks ago and it was the absolute worst experience I have ever had! The girl who I guess was in charge "she was screaming and cussing that she was in charge" was so rude to the other employees and had no concern what so ever for the guest while the person making my food had on a string tank top and no bra 🤢but the food was still on point so I went back just now and I'm glad I did!!! The young man and lady tonight were so polite and quick taking care of mine and my husband's order. The store was so clean and we will be back just because of them!!!
