TL; DR - Beautiful space, great drinks, Luke's Bagels, and an awesome app.

Daydreamer is by far the nicest coffee shop in Gainesville.

I started going because it's so close to UFs campus and I wanted a good spot to get a great cup of coffee and do a bit of work. This is the perfect place to do that.

The staff has always been super friendly and go out of their way to make sure everyone gets the drink they want.

Their selection of drinks is awesome and it seems like they're always trying to make it better, which I like. Not to mention, they sell Luke's Bagels which is awesome because it always feels so hard to get them from Luke's and I love those bagels.

I'm typically a cold brew/latte type of guy but they've convinced me to try other things and not only do I love their cold brews, lattes, and drip coffees, but their Sweetwater Matcha is awesome and I totally recommend it (pictured).

Finally, for being a smaller coffee shop, you wouldn't expect them to have a functional app but I downloaded their Daydreamer app and it's super well designed and useful for those times that I'm in a rush but want a drink. Plus, it tracks my rewards on there and that's awesome.

The space is absolutely stunning — beautifully decorated with a light, airy, and modern aesthetic that instantly makes you feel inspired and relaxed. It’s huge, so there’s plenty of room to spread out and get work done or catch up with friends.

The coffee is just as amazing as the atmosphere. I had a latte that was perfectly balanced and full of flavor — you can really tell they care about quality here. The staff was kind and welcoming, and the entire experience was just top-tier.

Daydreamer Coffee, located in Sweetwater Apartments in Gainesville, Florida, is an amazing coffee shop with ornate decorations and good vibes all around. Whether you need a place to study, a coffee or drink to sip, or a bagel/pastry to snack on, they have it all. My go-to is the Sweetwater Matcha, but the Honey Oat Latte is tasty as well, and the Hibiscus Tea is a refreshing alternative. Brad, the barista, and the staff, are always ready to offer you a positive attitude and a delicious drink. I also love how you can add honey, vanilla, lavender, and other sweetener options to customize your drink. There are outlets, free Wifi for guests, and several booths to sit in.
