Daniel needs to be trained on customer if he chooses to work with the public. I decided on Golden chick for lunch today went through drive thru after 12 mins of waiting i decided to go in. I was never greeted, told will be right with you while watching this man go back and forth in kitchen not saying anything so once he the approached 2 -3 mins of me standing waiting I asked is the driver thru closed because I waited 12mins and know one ever took my order cashier reply well it's not I replied then put a sign up stating that, he began to go on a rant how it's know employees and he had a big order to fill and I stated that's not my problem I'm here on lunch trying to place a order and you could have communicated. He then stated know I dont have time I politely told him he needed to work on his customer service skills he said if you don't like it you can go somewhere else I told him I'm aware what I can do he proceeded to take my order stating nothing was ready as a man not in uniform came behind counter and made a sandwich holding conversation with each other I was blown away as I watched the headset for drive thru sitting on the counter and time was literally running in drive thru Daniel just chose not to run it. ITS SAD these companies are trusting people with zero customer skills represent there business. Read moreWe Ordered, wasn't busy... We were told to take a seat because they were waiting on tenders to finish cooking. We waited, and waited then some friends I guess if the young lady that took the order came in. They were at the counter just talking, laughing, having a grand ol time.... And we waited.... Finally, knowing no one else had ordered behind us, I noticed a sack of food sitting on the counter in between the friends and employee that were having so much fun. I thought,"it couldn't be our food we told her it was too eat here, not to go. Must be a drive thru order" but I had my suspicions... So I priced to the counter, after not ever being acknowledged I interrupted and asked,"is that our food?" With a reply of,"oh yeah here" she just did the bag over and kept on talking...mgr was right there too. so all in all, that was my last time for Golden Chick...I had sent once before with basically the same result but chalked it up to,"new business working out the bugs" but no , I realize it's just no customer service is being stressed in training, good is cooked well, hot and very good(hence 2 instead 1 star) but the customer service,friendliness, and attentiveness wasn't lacking just...
Read moreI come this place once a week, sometimes twice a week. They have the best fry catfish in town. I would rate 5 stars for the catfish here, not the service, I start to go there every week since they opened but never have a nice service from employer. And today I go there @ 10:35am, google show they open at 10am but at 10:35am on Jan 24th , I on drive thru and no body answer. I come inside to order 3 orders of combo 3 pieces catfish, it used to be $4.99 every Friday, but today they charged me $8.99/ a combo as regular price. I hope they"ll fix it before I'm not come again.... Then I talk to the guy, he give me money back. He said sorry about that, that's ok to me. I know I have to wait about 10-20 mins every time if I order fry catfish, they cook per order to make it fresh, but sometimes I'm in rush, I hope they have an app to order online and pick up or a number to call for order because I come very often.
