Worst experience ever!! If I could give less stars I would. The server we had was terrible I cant remember her name but she was a older woman with a long red ponytail. She did not want to serve anyone and especially not me and my friend. The manager was out running her little heart out while out server attempted to look busy. My friend and I sat for 10 minutes with no service the manager came by and said the server would be right with us. I look over and can see four servers standing by the service line talking. Eventually our server comes over and asks what we would like to drink. I begin to order a coffee and she cuts me off asking if were ready to place our food order. I finish asking for my coffee a cup of water with flavored cream and veggie omelet with no sides. My friend orders a soda and points to the special omelet pictured on the table asking to try it. The server gives her this look like what omelet I need you to read it to me. Eventually we get a coffee cup coffee pot (which she half filled and slammed on the table) and a mountain dew. I have to ask the manager for water and flavored creamer. We wait and wait it was early Sunday morning so the place was not super busy. My omelet comes out I can see it in the server line then my friends does. The manager brings them. Our server does not come back until we have stacked our plates in the middle of the table and have moved to sit next to each other to talk more quietly. The manager sends our server over and she just drops off our checks and says shell be our cashier. I paid cash so the she kept the change part if my bill I belive it was like 58 or 68 cents something like that. Long story short terrible experience because of our server but superior manager at that IHOP I just wish her staff worked as...
Read moreUnfortunately, our visit was not what we normally would experience when we go to IHOP. We arrived at midnight and the restaraunt was not busy though there were some customers. We were led to our booth by a nice waitress. As soon we sat down however, our hands felt a sticky substance on the side of table. We requested to move to the closest table but as we sat down again, we realized that the new table top was wet. The waitress came to clean but we simply asked for a new table across the room. The 3rd table was clean and dry. I ordered the coffee, my actual favorite coffee of all restaraunts. Not sure why, but I just love IHOP's coffee flavor. Disappointingly, the coffee was only lukewarm. Hoping the 2nd coffee was hotter, I requested a new cup mentioning kindly that the coffee was not hot. The waitress again was sweet and brought a new cup however it was barely even hotter. Decided to just give up and eat my meal which was true to IHOP quality, very good and hot!! Although our waitress was wonderful, I was dismayed that at a corner table were employees, who seemed to have gotten off their shift and eating but engaged in a discussion whereas profanities were spoken clearly and loudly. Poor display of representation of IHOP employees. Luckily it did not continue throughout our dinner but was definitely not an appropriate dinner atmosphere. This experience won't prevent us from going to IHOP again. I don't believe in canceling because of one not so good experience but this location really could use some retraining on employee behaviors while on site at work and...
Read moreHad a good reminder tonight to never go here. Ate there with a friend tonight cuz he wanted ihop and I was like alright but I usually don’t go there…..Well we get there and get seated and she gets our drinks and stays on top of our drinks at first and all was good. But then when she left us our food it’s like we didn’t exist anymore. I forgot to ask for picante sauce with my omelet and she never came to check on us so I just ate it without picante sauce after waiting a good 5 minutes for her to come back to check on us. Never got checked on then she brings us our bill and then I tell her it would’ve been nice if she checked on us. Instead of apologizing she says “well what am I supposed to do about it now. You do realize I’m the only server here and have other tables to take care of. If you really needed it that bad you could have gotten up and asked me” she wasn’t even taking care of the other tables either. She brought them their food and forgot about them too and just went to the back.. She had 3 tables to take care of at the time we were there, with only a couple people at each table. I understand being understaffed, but this was unacceptable. Simply an action of apologizing would have made the evening better. Her justified response gained her a tip of $0 from both me and my friend, which is something we have never done before at...
