Panda Express — Restaurant in Gainesville

I love Panda Food. But this visit was disappointing. I wanted Rangoons and there were only two left. The counter lady said they weren't making any more Rangoons (12 Noon on Thursday). I offered to buy the two left (order is normally 3 for $2.25). She asked the young man who was manager and he said I had to pay full price ($2.25) for the two left over Rangoons. He didn't bother to address me, but hid behind the counter out of sight, listening. As I told the counter lady, I make it a point to not pay more for less, so no, keep the 2 leftover Rangoons. Very, very poor customer support on the manager. Also, this restaurant has a chronic problem with supply. There were only 3 or 4 dishes available and no Sweet Fire Chicken or Rangoons and the dregs of the Greens (the lack of Greens the last 3 times I came in). I was told they weren't going to make any more of any of these (12 Noon on Thursday). Every time I go here, it's a supply problem of some sort, plates, cups, food, sweet and sour sauce. They are chronically short staffed and the tables and floors are not cleaned between customers, with debris on the floor and tables. We have had to clean our own tables multiple visits. I generally have a good experience with this location. For a reason unknown to me, the wait time was longer than usual. I was okay with waiting, because historically the food is fresh and worth it. However today, I was served steamed rice with my meal that is filled with hardened pieces because according to staff, it is made the night before and the server forgot to remove the harden pieces. Unfortunately, the harden pieces dominates the meal. Secondly, the orange chicken does not taste fresh and is hard as well. While I was offered to return for fresh rice, my reasoning for writing this review is to express the importance of quality service and how important it is that quality is also applied with the food. Serve me fresh food the first time. I am a paying customer expecting quality service, not to be told, that I can return to the restaurant to have fresh rice made for me, which will take an additional 30 minutes after I have already waited 30 minutes to get hardened steamed rice and orange chicken....

I went to chick fil/A before going to panda . Their were no cars at panda my husband and one of my teenagers wanted panda I figured it would be fast since their were no cars . I order only two entree plates and they charge me and tell me to go to the front they would bring my food out . I wait 15 have passed and nothing so I call they say it’s gonna be a bit longer since they are waiting on food 10 more minutes pass and that’s when they bring food out . I still have to drive home takes me 5 min . I get home fries are cold and my chicken is cold since I HAD TO WAIT 25 MINUTES for my food at panda . Honestly it’s disappointing that they take so long having NO people in line . I look in bag no sauce no napkins or forks . They just get worse with time the girl that comes just hands the food I ask if it’s what I ordered since she dint even bother to repeat order to make sure it’s mine . Since they are 5 more cars in line waiting also . She just looks and says yeah I think. Like...
