I've been all over for Pizza. I've been to NY, west coast, abroad. This is hands down the best pizza I've ever had. Forget the price! (Which its outrageously reasonable! As of this review it's $2.99 per slice of cheese.) The crisp and thin but still mess you up, crust has everything you could ask for from your father-in-law while the front with a melty hug of cheese has everything you want from your sisters aunt. It's a melty crunchy marriage made by the hand of God and placed into the ovens of Johnny's New York Style Pizza. You won't be disappointed. The undercarriage is strong, the crust is robust, the cheese is sensational and the sauce to everything else ratio is exactly where it should be. Service is 10/10, atmosphere is sports bar and hits all marks, non-pizza is fantastic (as well as the pizza) I've tried their spaghetti and meatballs, it was a great paring and delivered a "we can do Italian" taste to the tongue successfully. Separately my server Cole was a 10/10, gave attentive service to our parties needs and we were well hydrated. He really drove a good report with me and cause a serious 10/10 rating, one that covered all aspects. This place is exactly where you and your family need to be when it's Pizza time or game day! Photos include various menu items available at time of review and my still be available.

It has been so nice to have another Johnny’s Pizza because the Pizza and Wings at the Sugarloaf location has been a wonderful Friday Night luxury. This new spot opened about 1 year ago in downtown Gainesville in a gorgeous building. As of 2025, this is the Pizza spot in the Gainesville; yes better than Atlas Pizza on the square and Venditti’s. The service and quality were splendid from a young hard working teenager. The facility was huge and the patio area overlooked Jesse Jewel Highway. They have a full bar and one of the few spots that still carry craft IPAs. We had a homemade margarita and Wild Leap.. so good. As for food, we had a small Greek salad with Greek dressing; it was well prepared. We also had Mild Wings and Garlic Parmesan wings. Now the Chef said it was his first time making because they were not on the menu. However, we have to say, they were hands down the best we’ve had, ahead of Taco Mac: garlic butter and topped with shreds of Parmesan. OMGness!! We highly recommend getting but you have to request. We also had a veggie slice and a slice of pepperoni; both were absolutely the “bomb!” With that, if you have a taste for pizza and wings, we highly recommend this new Johnny’s Pizza.

one word. AWESOME! This place hit all of my criteria for a perfect 5 stars. The location is near a safe and kinda hard-to-get to, but It is worth it. It was next to the bridge and had outdoor seating with some photogenic views. Adding that the place was very well kept as well, then those are more bonus points. The food was top tier, felt authentic, and came out nice and fresh. Perfect amount of toppings on the pizzas and had a big portions for the price. The staff were very nice and we Eben had some small talk with them. They also came out to serve us fast and checked up on us a good number of occasions. would definitely check this place out!

Our Son is in a Dr. Of Physical Therapy program at Brenau in Gainesville. They had a ceremony yesterday where the students received their white coats. My wife and I live out of town and we had family members coming in for the event. I have had the pizza from Johnny’s before and thought it was very good. Based on the proximity to the university, my wife decided to give them a call a few weeks ago to see if they could accommodate a party of 12 (Grandparents to little children). She spoke with Brandon the manager. Although they do not take reservations, Brandon said that he would be working that day and to give him a call that morning. He said even though it was a Friday night, he would do his best to accommodate us. My wife and I stopped by late Friday morning instead of calling We spoke to Brandon and he recalled their phone conversation. He said he would do his best to have a table for us inside due to the heat but showed us an outside room as an option in case they were too busy. We let him know if inside seating wasn't available we would be fine sitting outside. The event ended about 30 minutes earlier than we expected and we walked over to Johnny’s. When we got there, Brandon had a table inside ready for us and he personally oversaw our service. The service was terrific! The food came out quickly, all at the same time and was hot. Everyone in our group enjoyed what they ordered. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. They allowed us to bring in a cake and provided plates for it. We would like to thank Brandon for making our dinner work out so well. He is the kind of manager that a business is lucky to...
