Total time spent in drive thru: 52 minutes.
drive thru takes forever, their parking lot and entrance for drive thru is a joke. they tend to cater to one speaker more than the other. i had 3 cars pass me on the left speakers before i was greeted at all on the right side (a different time i came here). i said hi a few time and kept getting placed on hold while other orders were taken. Why bother having that second lane at all?!
Service is alright but this time my order was still not correct after leaving the speaker unanswered. i was in the left lane this time. i said hello a few time once the person said my total but he had his headset on and my fiance and i could hear him talking to another co worker. my total was not correct so i knew he did not have the correct order. I am trying to get his attention but the right lane's order is now popping up on my left side lane menu board.
once i got to the first window (pay window) they repeated my order correctly. i again asked for a BOGO for $1 with the filet of fish no cheese and with the 10 piece nugget extra honey mustard AND then a mcdouble. My total should not have been much more than $8 and i said that it was the wrong total for only 3 items. but they kept repeating that it was $12.92. Several times we went back and forth on my order at the pay window. Again I said the chicken nuggets are like 5.19 (on the BOGO menu) plus my extra item is only a dollar. and then my mcdouble which isn't even $2!!! That does not equal $12 sir.... A guy with another headset in a hoodie came up and i told HIM all this now and that it was not the right price. ((Does anyone Back of House even wear a uniform in this store?)) They did not seem to get that i only had 3 items, i kept repeating myself that i only have ONE bogo with the filet and the nuggets ONLY and then ONE mcdouble. they were not getting it. I gave up and just grabbed my wallet for more cash as my fiance is still complaining that's not the right price and why am i paying more... I just wanted to see my receipt because i knew the guys didn't have the right order....
I went ahead and gave the ORIGINAL young man $13 and i assume he hit the wrong button on the register because it took him and his co-worker another SEVERAL minutes to find my receipt then scramble trying to figure out how much money i gave him and how much change to give me back. 8 cents guys. Drive thru line has not moved at all during this time.
I look at my receipt at the window and see what they did wrong. He got me for 2 filet's a 10 piece and the mcdouble. i must have repeated my order 15 times to these two young men at the window! Both me and my fiancé told them several times we should only have 3 items TOTAL on that order. I got my refund for unwanted item, but OH MY GOSH YALL!!! CMON!!! We all voted to give $15 an hour for minimum wage. Kindly, learn how to count change back to a customer. It's simple math and should not have to be done on a phone...
Read moreI visited McDonald's today to get two coffees. Upon entering, I noticed no one was taking orders at the register, so I used the kiosk instead. That wasn’t a big deal, but after completing my order, I waited about 10 minutes, which felt excessive for just two coffees.
While I was waiting, another customer approached the counter to pick up his online order. The server handed him one coffee and mentioned his iced and decaf coffee would be ready soon. However, the iced coffee already sitting on the counter had my receipt number on it. Then, when the decaf coffee was finished, the server tried to give both drinks to the other customer. I stepped in, told him those were mine which he then asked for the reciept for confirmation, which I showed.
When I finally went to pick up the decaf coffee, the lid popped off before I could even fully grab it, spilling hot coffee on my hand. At that moment, I wasn’t angry—I get it, mistakes happen. I grabbed some paper towels, cleaned up the mess myself, and figured that would be the end of it.
But what really set me off was the server’s comment when I came back to pick up my coffee: “Maybe don’t grab it so tight next time. I made sure to put that on tight. I checked. So don’t grab it so tight.” Excuse me? That was completely unnecessary and flat-out insulting.
The lid popped off because it wasn’t secure, not because of anything I did. McDonald’s coffee lids don’t just fly off that easily, and I hadn’t even fully lifted the cup before the coffee spilled. For the server to deflect their mistake onto me was infuriating. Own up to it, apologize, and move on. Don’t turn it into the customer’s fault.
I would have been fine leaving after the spill, but that comment pissed me off, and I was okay with waiting 10 minutes for my drinks or dealing with the mix-up. This experience shows a lack of accountability and respect...
Read moreI will never visit this particular location again after the experience I just had with my family. We were at the kiosk placing our order when the lady who had been standing to the side when we walked in just started yelling and berating the employees. Best I could gather from what she was saying is that she wasn't an angry customer but had personal business with another employee. The manager did absolutely nothing to handle this situation and all of the employees allowed this woman to continue standing there yelling until the employee she wanted to speak to finally came running up. They eventually took things outside and at one point, the employee came back in. The manager reminded her that she was still on the clock and that was the only thing said by the manager at all throughout the whole conflict.
There were no table # tablets and my husband was ignored when he went to ask them what we should do because the kiosk wouldn't let us proceed without putting a number in. It was another customer who helped us (not an employee). When we finally got our order, we were missing 2 of our drink cups. My husband went up to the counter to inquire about getting the cups and was ignored for over 10 minutes. No apologies were made by anyone for the whole affair, even when it was clear that all of the customers were uneasy and some even walked out.
While I can't blame the employees for the initial conflict, it was disturbing how it was handled (or rather how it was not handled). My kids were scared and I ended up having a panic attack in the store due to my PTSD because seeing my kids so uncomfortable had me very on edge. Completely unprofessional and no cares were given to any of the customers who stayed after the...
