Apna Bazar — Local services in Gainesville

I was very excited for this place to open as I visit other locations regularly. When I walked in there was a couple that was talking to the front desk about one of the chocolates being expired. The manager apologized and took the box away. (READ BELOW)

I shopped around the store for a couple things and when I checked out I noticed the same box of expired chocolate was now returned to the shelf and the couple were gone. One of the bars was also open as someone took a bite out of it.

I left the few things I picked out (which were outrageously expensive) and walked out the door as I didn’t want to support that kind of behavior.

It’s sad to see a place operate like this when they just opened. I hope the owners can realize this as this should not be happening...

Good variety and authentic Indian groceries! Apna Bazzar Gainesville has a great selection of fresh produce, spices, and Indian snacks that are sometimes hard to find elsewhere. The store is clean and organized, and the staff are generally friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable for imported items, and they have popular products too.It can get a little hub soon, but overall it’s a reliable place for South Asian grocery shopping in Gainesville. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for authentic ingredients or ready-to-cook...

Very bright, well stocked, and reasonably priced. The produce was fresh and plentiful. The staff was helpful and welcoming. I will definitely return again soon. Beautiful and delicious...
