Terrible experience. I lament that I cannot leave zero stars. My dad and I just stopped by tonight and ordered a family meal. I politely asked for the Peruvian Aji - readily available at other locations. I was ignored. She proceeded to turn around and speak to her co-worker in Spanish. When I asked again, I was lied to and told that you do not carry any sauces and the only things available was the poorly stocked condiment bar. I pulled up the Pollo Campero website thinking that i did not clearly convey what I wanted and that the two servers did not understand what I was asking for. Again I was lied straight to my face that there was no such thing. All the meanwhile other Hispanic customers' orders were being fulfilled with a bag of condiments from under the front counter and from a small fridge. I could even claim racism as the two servers so rudely attended to the non-Hispanic customers. There were two black customers and an Asian mother and daughter who also received the same level of poor service and disrespect as my father and I received. As we were leaving I asked for the name of the girl who took my order. She lied, telling me her name was Brenda. Poor thinking on her part as (1) I had taken note of her name on her badge and (2) her name is on the receipt: Yolanda. Shame on you, Pollo Campero, and your ignorant servers. Read moreI came through the drive thru Friday 9/23 at around 7:25pm. No one ahead of me. No one behind me. I haven't eaten here in at least 10 years so I was unfamiliar with the menu. As I pull up to order, the woman operating the drive thru asked to take my order and when I asked to have a moment I heard her say "oh my God" under her breath. Clearly my presence annoyed her. So as I was trying to decide what to order she proceeds to spout off almost the whole menu at a rapid pace that I could barely understand so her trying to rush me was counterintuitive on her part. When I did order, she stuck her hand out the window to wave me on, again trying to rush me or maybe she thought I was stupid and didn't know where to go? All I can say was that she was very fortunate that my 4 year old and I were very hungry and didn't have time to go anywhere else so I held my tongue for fear that if I didn't, I could possibly find a surprise in our food. On a positive note, I really wanted to give this 5 stars because our food was delicious! Not one thing we ordered was bad and everything tasted fresh, so thank you to the cooks! Read moreThis restaurant is by far the most unprofessional place I’ve been too. Why hire employees who aren’t happy to ring people up? Who have attitude. Went in drive through at 8oclcok and they were all out of everything we only could get chicken. If you’re closing at 8pm why don’t you have anything? The young woman who rung us up in drive through told us 15-25min which we felt was reasonable since it was 20 chickens. We came back 16min asking if they’re done and she rudely responded “didn’t I say 25 min just go back and park and will come out” we waited for 30min more and we went to ask for a update and they said 5 more min without any apology for the delay. Those 5 minutes passed and now it’s 9pm and we just received our food. The guy who came out to delivery our food didn’t even know what he was giving us even after we were told to park on number 1.. which they should know what car space order is for what. Then I mentioned to him how come he can’t even say sorry for the delay after a hour long and he simply walked away.
