Margarita was good. Chips and salsa good. Food just ok. Service was slow. Management was bad!. Our waitress was sweet. I asked if i could get a kids meal because I don’t eat much and she said of course. She never told me I had to pay an up charge. And there was no where on the menu it said there was an up charge. So when I didn’t get my coke that was included in the meal, I was looking around and didn’t see our waitress so I called to an elderly lady who was walking by, which I assume maybe was the manager to see if I could get my coke. She acted rude and mad basically that I had ordered a kids meal. She told me in a very rude, loud, abrupt manner ā€œyou know you have to pay 2 dollars extra for a kids meal.ā€ I said ā€œ Oh I didn’t know that, the waitress didn’t tell me that.ā€ She said ā€œ well, it’s on the menu and everywhere you go you have to pay extra if you’re an adult getting a kids mealā€. I was taken back by her tone and rudeness! Then she walked away and I hear her screaming at someone in the back which I assumed was our waitress. So when the waitress came back and brought my bill, I noticed she had tears in her eyes and she was apologizing for I guess that woman’s behavior. I felt bad for her. When I was reviewing my bill I noticed I was charged 2 dollars extra for my margarita. So when I went to the register to check out, I tried to get it corrected but she ( the rude, elderly, manager lady or whoever she was) wouldn’t correct the overcharge on the margarita since the waitress did not charge me extra for the kids meal. She said I had to pay that since I wasn’t charged extra for the kids meal. What?!! I would have ordered a meal regardless if I could not have gotten a kids meal. It was the point of the way she acted that was very wrong to the customer. It was the very poor customer service and the lady was extremely rude and hateful about it. I will not go back! Terrible, terrible customer service. You don’t argue with the customer and you don’t treat them rudely and charge them for things that they should not be charged for. Terrible experience. Plus the service was super slow! I usually don’t complain but it was a...

I was in town and looking for dinner. I saw this place was relatively new and had good reviews so I decided to try it.

I got chips and salsa. The house salsa was very bland, so I asked for some hotter salsa. When I got the bill, I saw they had charged me $2.25 for the second salsa. No other place in town did this during my visit

I opted for the chicken fajitas, no tomatoes. The fajitas themselves were delicious. My rice and beans plate came with lettuce, but not the pico and guacamole it was supposed to come with, so I asked for those. I think because I said no tomatoes in my fajitas, he figured that was across the board. Really, I just dislike hot tomatoes. I got a very small amount of pico and guacamole. I asked for more pico and he brought a small salsa dish of pico, but charged me $5 for it! To be fair, I did see pico on the menu for $5, but would have appreciated the heads up that I would be charged for it. $5 is a lot for that quantity of pico.

There are other good Mexican restaurants in town that do not charge for extra for additional salsas or for different types of salsa. While the fajitas were good, I will not...

From the moment we walked in, I was captivated by the cozy atmosphere, striking a perfect balance between casual elegance and warmth. The staff was exceptional, extending genuine friendliness and ensuring every need was met with grace.

Our evening began with the queso accompanied by chorizo, an absolute treat that set the tone for the rest of the meal. Creamy and cheesy, with a delightful smoky twist from the chorizo, it was irresistible.

The array of entrees we selected were beautifully presented and tasted as dazzling as they looked, offering a burst of vibrant flavors that delighted both the eyes and taste buds.

And oh, the grand finale! The churros with ice cream were an indulgent delight. Crispy on the outside, with a sublime caramel cream filling, the churros were a dream dessert.

Casa Roja offers more than just a meal; it’s a dining experience. Whether a lovely evening with family or a gourmet getaway, this spot truly made our dinner memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Casa Roja. Whether you're a local or passing through Gallatin, this place...

I moved here from Arizona two years ago and I've been on a mission to find a Mexican restaurant that doesn't disappoint. Well, mission [finally] accomplished. It's not quite Sonoran-Mexican but it's pretty darn close and BY FAR the BEST enchiladas and chile relleno I've had in Tennessee so far. We tried both the red and green enchiladas and both were spectacular. The rice and beans reminded us of home. The servers were extremely friendly, the vibes were cozy, and the decor was thoughtful, beautiful, and authentic. We're so grateful to have such a fantastic spot in Gallatin and we'll definitely be back to try some more dishes! Edit to add: Please note that as of this posting, the restaurant has only been open for about a month (?) so they are still awaiting their liquor license. Can't wait to try their future margaritas!

I am absolutely impressed by Casa Roja!! Living in CA & AZ, have my tongue used to West Coast Mexican food, it's hard to find that same flavor in TN... Until Casa Roja opened their doors! Their flavors immediately resonated quality Mexican food. Thinly sliced tortillas fresh chips, freshly made horcha & jamaica drinks, to their enchiladas with their Salsa Verde that knocked my socks off!! And the best Chile Relleno I've had in TN, made with fresh block cheese. Truly amazing authentic West Coast Mexican flavors here!! Service is beyond great, the mgr overheard I wanted a jamaica, but was sold out, he went above and beyond and brought me out a fresh glass from tomorrow's batch! With the service & flavors, we will be back again & again & again!! A+++
