Gyro King has quickly become one of my favorite spots to eat, and it’s all thanks to their incredible combination of delicious food and top-tier service. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm welcome that makes you feel more like a guest than just another customer. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in making sure every order is done right.
The food speaks for itself. Every bite is packed with flavor, and whether you’re ordering a classic gyro, loaded fries, or one of their flavorful platters, you can tell the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. The meat is always perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the sauces they use are absolutely next-level. It’s comfort food done right—authentic, satisfying, and always hits the spot.
What really sets Gyro King apart, though, is the consistency. Every visit feels just as good as the last. Orders are always accurate, portions are generous, and the presentation shows they pay attention to the little things. Whether I’m dining in or grabbing takeout, the experience is seamless. Even during busier times, the staff keeps things moving smoothly without sacrificing quality or friendliness.
It’s rare to find a place that checks every box like Gyro King does. Their commitment to great service, amazing food, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it clear why they’ve earned such a loyal following. I genuinely look forward to every visit and can’t recommend them enough to anyone who’s looking for a go-to spot that never...
Read moreAs someone who has enjoyed meals at other Gyro King locations in the past, I had reasonably high expectations when I visited this particular branch. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory and left me thoroughly disappointed.
I ordered a #16 Gyro Plate and could clearly see that all the components for my meal were ready and in place, less than a foot in front of me. However, despite this, the cook informed me that he was "waiting on something." What followed was even more frustrating: instead of completing my order, he began preparing meals for several customers who arrived after me—five, to be exact.
This lack of attention and disregard for the order sequence felt both unprofessional and disrespectful. It’s disheartening to be overlooked in such an obvious manner, especially when your meal is clearly ready to be assembled.
While I’ve had positive experiences at other Gyro King locations, this visit has seriously impacted my impression of the brand. Based on this encounter, I will be avoiding this location...
Read moreWent in at 12:30 (lunch time) no one was at the counter. Waited. Saw two people talking in the closet. Waited. Waited over 5 minutes. Then they didn't have meat or pitas ready so they scraped the grill for about 5 mins and put pitas on it. Then they put my pita in the microwave instead of one that they had put on the grill. Then I waited for the meat. Also the soda was all flat. Dumped it. Tried a different soda. Flat. Again. Again. They've been open a week how is it flat? All I ordered was a gyro sandwich. Ended up taking over 15 minutes to get my gyro sandwich and I was the first person in line. My food is cold, the pita tastes like it's been half heated (from the micro) from frozen and they only put 1 tomato on my gyro. There is barely any feta on this and hardly any tzatziki or lettuce. Absolutely disappointing and not worth $9. I will not be back. I'm having to eat the gyro like a salad because the pita is so tough it's inedible
I would go to Chicago Style Gyros near Walmart any...
