So initially would have rated 2 stars, but in the end they made things right.
First off they are just outside our area for delivery, no big deal 5 miles away to it pick up. This is where the problem started.
I placed the order with a lady on the phone and was told 20-30 min. When I arrived they said they didn't have my order there; it must have been at the other Papa's. I was shocked and asked if the number on Google was correct? They said yes. I was then told buy the manager that came over, Anthony (I think that was his name), that they had everything but the Philly pizza of my order because they don't have that any more and shouldn't have taken my order for it. He said they tried calling me, but somehow the phone number they had was not even close to mine. He offered to expedite another pizza in 6 min. I accepted and began to wait.
I noticed many other customers waiting and asking how much longer on their pizzas. It seemed staffing was adequate for a Friday night, but that maybe the oven capacity may be lacking.
I don't think this is the fault of the employees. I think: 1- the owner of a newer store at the beginning stages should be present to see problem areas and improve them. 2- an analysis of that area should have been done before building to gauge the pizza oven capacity needed.
Anthony seemed to be handling things the best he could and was doing a great job juggling it all. In the end things were handled properly and made right.
If you are the owner and read this please realize this could have been a lot worse review and you only have 2 reviews with a 3 star rating before mine. Please make the changes needed to better serve your customers. I don't want to have to go back and edit this rating or go back to...
Read moreThe first time we ordered pizza here a couple weeks ago it was at like 8:30 at night and it’s was literally the best pizza we had from anywhere that we were so happy to order again 2 nights ago. DISAPPOINTED was an understatement. Its was horrible. So we actually order pizza at 5:30 that night and my girlfriend when to pick it up this time. She said when she got there there was nothing but kids working there. She brought the pizza home and there was absolutely no cheese and the pizza was so tough it almost broke my tooth. I even had to cut the tough pizza by myself because they barely cut the pizza. I will NEVER order here again and this isn’t the first time I heard bad things about this location. I hope they change things soon and start getting people in there who actually want to work.. Otherwise this location should honestly shut down because if your employees can’t make a simple pepperoni or plain cheese pizza.. why is it open in the first...
Read moreWe ordered a specialty pizza tonight (BBQ Chicken Pizza) and it was delivered with basically no sauce, completely dry and lukewarm. That’s one thing - but called the store an told by an associate that “it comes like that..” ..We’ve ordered Papa J forever, and pretty familiar with what a good BBQ chicken looks like. This wasn’t it. Worst of all, the line disconnected when we questioned the response … When we called back to ask the manager, told we could speak to them, but were put on hold with no return. This location doesn’t show a great customer experience, lacks professionalism, and willing to lose a customer over a single $20 pizza. Will do myself a favor from here on out and switch to a competitor like Marcos and Fairvue Pizza right...
