Blake's Lotaburger — Restaurant in Gallup

Very disappointed with Blake's Lota Burger on Hwy east 66th - before you can go in and order your food and its ready in 5 minutes THIS TIME went in and there is 4 people preparing the food, 2 people working at the cash register ordering , 1 person in the back doing something couldn't see what he was doing - 2 people on the side cooking French fries one of them making a order to go.....it took over 15 minutes!! 4 people preparing the food (was it there first time doing this?!?!) After I order just in a few minutes there were people in line up to the door - 4 or 5 people had order there food on phone, should had been ready but nope they had to wait 3/5 minutes - 1 person came in (order food on phone) he had a list with him making sure they got the order right NOPE order was wrong - so he had to wait about 10 minutes for them to papare the orders again, he wasn't happy I would be too. This where I go to get my fix on some good Lota Burger its close to my work - maybe it was a odd day but give Lota Burger another chance, if it be another slow mode then going to the other Lota Burger which is 12/25 minutes further - oh forgot - my order was wrong! older lady at cash register couldn't get it, had to show her on board behind her....2 #8 cardi adovada, 1 #9 breakfast burrito with sausage and red Chile sauce - I get 2 breakfast burritos and 1 cardi adovada and a egg bread sandwich - it was at the bottom of the bag - saw the burritos in the bag and to top that off had to hurry back to work! We were interested to try a New Mexican fast food chain we'd never heard of before. Now we understand why. This place is disgusting. First, the fried chicken tastes like day-old grease, the "Blake's sauce" is bland, the bread was tasteless, and everything else was just bottom-rung fast food monotony. What really changed the game was the black hair my mom found in her chili dog. When I very politely showed the staff member, he didn't apologize, just kind of shrugged and said he'd make her another one. I declined, as my mom was definitely off her appetite by then. While she took over, boomer-style, to take the complaint up a notch and ask for her money back, I looked around a bit and found two rat traps around the back and side. Then my daughter used the restroom and found nasty water standing around the toilet and the sink. The booth seats were dirty and greasy, and there was just detritus all over the floor everywhere. My friend and I went in for a lady’s breakfast hoping to chat while enjoying some burritos which were recommended by most of our New Mexican friends. However, upon entering the establishment, the floor was dirty, the seating area looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in ages, and there was a lingering odor in the air. Not to mention, the service itself was terrible. We asked for our food to be fresh which is pretty reasonable for the price you’re paying only to find that our burritos were cold. So we had to ask a big lady at the counter for a different burrito and she rudely snatched the bag and made snarky comments. All I’m saying is if you can’t handle rehearing some food for a PAYING customer, then don’t work at all. Anyways, the food itself was okay. It was cold and for the $6/ burrito it was not worth it at all. I suggest going to a different location and avoiding the area altogether. It’s highly disappointing for my first Lotaburger...
